We just used this on a recent trip with our Uppababy MESA car seat. Both the car seat and the base fit perfectly in the bag, with extra room for some kid stuff (books, diapers,...). The inside of the bag is padded which provides some more reassurance that the seat won't be damaged in flight.
We checked this at the check-in counter, and everything arrived at the destination and the bag is still in great shape!

The backpack straps fit well for tall people (my husband said it was comfortable as he is 6ft tall) but are not adjustable enough to fit my frame (I’m only 5’2”).
