sound quality, my friends say it sounds good. if you are planning to put this mic on a boom arm. make sure to unscrew the narrow long neck below the mic to access the 5/8 female screw hole. nowhere on the manual says this, or at least i can find.

I have used the mic both with the stand it comes with and with an appropriate solid arm.

Works well, i mostly got it because the mic on the kraken v3 pro is garbage. I would say the seiren v2 x is the same quality as the mic on the kraken tournament. Nothing impressive but quite decent, you definitly need the boom stick tho otherwise itll pick up everything that happens on the desk.

C'est un micro supercardioïde, donc il capte principalement le son venant de l'avant et va réduire les sons venant de l'arrière. It's definitely a good budget mic, if i were to buy another i would look into spending a bit more. The audio quality is good but not as great as i hoped. The lack of software to adjust levels and tones is rough. You can only adjust gain which really isn't enough. Similar quality to my Hyper X, just much better noise gates.

This is the third mic I've owned since moving to fully work from home during the pandemic. The sound quality is great! It is very solid/heavy, but still easy to move around. The cables are very high quality and there are convenient volume, gain and mute buttons on the mic. Aside from having issues with other mic's, I already have several other Razer products and what I am finding is that at least for audio/video, the Razer devices work better together than when you mix and match with other brands. All in all, I have no complaints about this mic, it is working fantastically!

Anteriormente tenia un micrófono que funcionaba con alimentación externa pero por las bajas en la luz se descompuso, compre este como una alternativa barata y no me arrepiento, si lo usas con razer synapse es cuando de verdad descubres su potencia, buenos bajos, buen manejo de ganancia, y no ha fallado, funciona a la perfección y no me arrepiento

Initially I purchased the Razer Seiren X (v1), just wanting something smaller than my previous "studio mic" setup which required a mic stand, mixer, etc. and took up way too much space. I was pleasantly surprised at just how well it worked, but it really irked me that it was micro-USB rather than USB-C (I've been trying to clean out old micro-USB devices) and I wondered if a different Razer mic came with one. To my surprise, there was a v2 of the same mic with USB-C I had just failed to do the proper research.

I am happy to say the v2 is actually better than the first version, it picks up A LOT more than the other mic did so I don't have to be so close or force the gain up past it's maximum. Although the knob is free-spinning which I found odd, as the version prior had a minimum and maximum point but not the end of the world. Similar to the older version, there's a headphone jack pass-through on the back. Also, the USB-C cable is form-fitted to plug in and sit flush against the bottom of the mic. The only other difference is the older version was more of a condenser-style while v2 is more dynamic at least looks-wise. Oh and also the cable is a lot longer (and thicker) on v2 than v1, which was a nice bonus.

Great mic, great price, I would gladly recommend this to anyone looking for a good "gaming" mic. I use mine on a Steam Deck, plugged into a Razer BlackWidow Chroma v2 just for reference.
