Sticker says only use Sim card from Southeast Asia. Seals were broken. There are even a few fingerprints on the screen.I expected a new phone.I feel like it may have been tampered with. Don't order from this phone dealer.

I got this to upgrade from a 2017 budget phone so it was a massive upgrade. Screen looks really good, fingerprint reader is quick, decent camera and built in storage. I also love that this has a micro SD card slot too for expandable storage. I can run Genshin Impact fine on this with low settings so I can still do my daily stuff if I am away from home. I pit in a 256GB micro SD card just so I know I got loads of storage for when I need it.

The Phone:

Works fine for me ( light user --> I use plex, reddit, imgur, adblock browser, imdb, and occasionally the camera ). My previous phone was a galaxy s7 which I loved but was dying. This phone was a pretty smooth transition for me.

The Seller:

Sent me the phone pretty fast. Haven't had to contact them as everything works and was basically as advertised ( more on that in a second ).

I read the other reviews here and was a little hesitant on ordering because the phone was not intended for north american use and that some phones had evidence of being opened. All I can say is that my experience so far ( 1 day with minor usage --> a couple test calls/texts/data use ) has been positive. My box safety stickers appeared to not have been tampered with and the phone appeared genuinely new. My sim card worked first time so it doesn't seem as though the original region/country software version seems to matter ( mine was XMC which is Malaysian in origin ) as far as that goes ( I use Sasktel btw ). If you are sketched out by the negative reviews just do a little research before buying to make sure that everything will work together. Also read the fine print.

I suppose this phone was intended for the indonesian market. I don't think it will have an impact on quality, but still.

I bought this after returning an A03s that just wasn't good enough. This is so much better and I can definitely recommend it for anybody who is looking for a phone that will handle modern web browsing and applications without issues. If you are a power user who switches between applications frequently but you are not looking to spend 1000 dollars on a phone I think this is a great option. The keyboard is pretty responsive and accurate, while the ram is handling multiple applications and tabs in a way that the a03s just couldn't.

I purchased on sale for just over 300cad and I believe it to be a great option at that price point. I considered the newer a53 but I don't see a large advantage in it for the price difference while the a52 is on sale and still so capable. I'm a really fast typer and in general use the phone at a high speed flipping back and forth between applications while multitasking and the phone does a good job in keeping up. I consider this to be the basic standard of what a modern phone should be able to handle.

I am using this phone on a tmobile plan. was not sure how much function I would get, but it works just like it should. this is a GSM based phone so it will only work on certain networks so make sure you check first. Given the cost vs what I get this is a great phone! has a lot of the premium features without the premium price tag! If you are looking for a low cost phone with a lot of features this is it. I have another premium Samsung phone and love it but the cost to replace is much higher would consider this as a viable option if anything happens to it. it doesn't have the fancy glass back but it still feels good in the hands. I bought an otterbox to put a case on it to keep it protected and I think it will last a long time!

In my research, I overlooked the A52 is provided in some markets with only 2G/3G/LTE capability. Buying this via Amazon, I now realize the seller was only providing the non-5G model (but that wasn't obvious when I placed the order). So US buyers, when considering an A52 purchase, double-check the device is the A52-5G model if you truly want a 5G compatible phone. Otherwise, the A52 is a great phone and is working well on my ATT carrier (in my case, only on LTE since I didn't note it wasn't the 5G model).
