Matters needing attention

  1. Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the charger before removing the filter.
  2. Wash filters in cold water only. Rinsing under the water supply then gently squeezing the water out of the filter. (don’t use detergent or hot water).
  3. Squeeze and twist with both hands to make sure the excess water is removed. Leave to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours.
  4. To refit, place the dryer filter back into the top of the appliance. Make sure it is fitted properly.

Charging & Storing

  • Please fully charge the new battery before use. After 2-3 times regular use (charge/discharge), the battery can be fully activated and achieve optimum performance..
  • To help prolongs battery life, avoid recharging immediately after a full discharge. Allow cooling for a few minutes. Using the standard model first in everyday use, MAX mode will shorten use time.
  • If the battery doesn't be used for a long time, the battery will self-discharge, please fully charge it before use. If the battery is standing idle, please charge it every 2-3 months to prevent irreversible capacity loss caused by self-discharge.
  • .It is recommended to store the battery in cool, dry and well-ventilated at 3℃~20℃.

Replacement battery was a perfect fit and when setting my Dyson V8 to max, I noticed already it runs longer. Nice that it included a filter too and will be leaving it on the charger to make sure it is fully charged before its first use.This saves me from having to buy a new cordless vacuum cleaner hopefully I can get a few more years out of my Dyson. This battery also comes with an extended warranty from the manufacturer so definitely a bonus.

Writing a review for a battery within 3 months of buying it is pointless. Which is why I would rather write nothing. But as it is 2.25 years since I have bought this battery, here I am.

This battery has impressed me with its output, performance, and longevity. In my v6 Animal, this thing when installed, gave me 34 plus minutes of runtime without turbo mode, which I rarely need on a hard floor and low pile entrance carpet. I don't know how long it runs now, over two years later, but I can say that it is not obviously less (though we know it can't have stayed the exact same, given how batteries deplete), as I still finish my 10 minute job several times before charging it again. I guestimate runtime is around 25 minutes. I have treated it very well, even not-charging until fully dead (even though I am told lithium doesn't have that problem), so maybe that has helped...maybe that's irrelevant.

I have bought many thirs party lithium battery products over the years, and this is the only one that is sturdy beyond a year, let alone two years. And best of all, i still feel absolutely no need to get a new battery. But I know what to get when that time comes.

Never heard of Yaber, but this thing powers my Dyson like a boss.

The battery in a Dyson lasted about half hour new and now less than a year old about 20 minutes. The original was good for at least 40 minutes. It boasts more milliamp hours than the original yet doesn't come close. I would recommend to find a better quality battery. I also registered and confirmed the product with Yaber for warranty but have had no reply back on the warranty claim.
