Soft, big and comfy!
5 Stars
Soft, big and comfy!
Soft, stretchy, loose and comfortable! Shows off all the lumps and bumps so don't expect a "flattering" fabric, but when you want comfort (like during labour) this is perfection! One size fits all DOES mean huge. I'm a M/L pre-pregnancy, likely an XL now... and this is still generously comfy with a wiiiiide neckline. I can see why XS and S ladies feel duped; they would likely be swimming in this.Doubles as a great maternity nightgown so you can get your money's worth, just make sure it's washed and packed when you get close to the due date!

As many of the reviews state, this sucker is HUGE! I bought this for my twin labour and I was enormous. Like Humpty Dumpty enormous. Still, this gown fit very loosely in the best possible way and was incredibly soft. Loved the pockets and the snaps to do skin-to-skin, breastfeed, and for an epidural port. You can't feel the snaps at all. This was pricey but worth it for me.

Very nice and comfy. Only complaint is it’s a bit big so if you were a size xs/s in clothes you’d swim in this

Runs a bit large but being 40 weeks when I wore this it fit fine. I could unbutton both sides and feed without issues. Softer than what the hospital gives you and full coverage on the back. I wore it at home as well. Very comfortable and easy to wash. Does not shrink in dryer.

I wanted to love this because Frida Mom has some wonderful products, but it just wasn't practical for me.

The biggest issue is that it's One Size. I found it to be quite baggy and loose, even at 9 months pregnant and it just wasn't comfortable. The neck is too wide and it would hang down too much in the front. I can't imagine the buttons in the back would be comfortable either, and the sleeves don't allow for easy removal once an IV is placed. It would be better suited for a homebirth or postpartum recovery and nursing, however I found it too loose on me to use.

Also, its just one more thing to bring to the hospital when they have an abundance of gowns on hand. Personally, I would save your money for more practical post partum products.

It is made of a nice stretchy elastic material and the quality is nice. It was mainly the fit I didn't care for.

Way oversized.. definitely not a 1 size fit all. Worst part is there's no return on this product.

I wanted a maternity gown for the hospital because I heard how uncomfortable and scratchy the materials of the hospital provided gowns were. I felt a little bougie getting this one but I wanted to be comfortable and I didn’t regret getting it at all. It was so comfortable to be in during my entire labour. It’s flowy and is so buttery soft. The colour isn’t fun or anything but it serves a good purpose. It wasn’t see through at all even though it’s a little thin and the snaps open up a so much you can have your whole chest open for easy skin to skin and nursing right when baby is born.
I even continued to use mine after we went home. It was so hard wearing trousers with all the heavy pads and adult diapers and cooling pads with tucks and what not. The gown removed having to deal with putting trousers on and taking them off. It was also so easy to just wake up and pull front down so baby could nurse and I’d just snap them back up with my eyes closed once she was done. I still have this hanging in my closet and will definitely be using it for my next baby. The material didn’t stain at all from my baby’s birth so I won’t need to get a new one.
It seems like a silly expense but it’s so worth it.

It fits just right. I'm a size 18-20(AU) after becoming pregnant and this fits perfectly. The material is so comfortable and definitely the access to the back for epidural and for breastfeeding was handy. Need to buy another one!

This gown is way too huge and long!!! I’m 158cm tall and weighs 48kg before pregnant. Now at 36 weeks pregnant, I’m 59kg.

I’m literally swimming in this gown. It’s such a waste because the material is comfy, but I look hideous in it. Am putting up to sell 2nd hand, which I’m regretting big time as I should have refunded on Amazon!!! Why didn’t I?!

It may seem boujie bringing your own hospital gown to deliver your baby in, but I’m telling you this is so worth it!! The quality is amazing, it’s so nice and thick and cozy, unlike the scratchy hospital gowns. Has easy access to breastfeeding/skin to skin, epidural access while also keeping your butt out from the open unlike the hospital gown. This washed great in the washing machine and dryer, I’ll definitely be re-using for baby #2!
