My son had an FM transmitter that he plugged his phone into in order to play his music over the car radio. I wanted to try it after I got my music subscription app on my phone but there was so much background noise and I could not achieve good volume for listening to my favorite tunes. So I bought this one. It's easy to set up. No cords or adapters needed. No background noise and I can crank up the music! Also, it works pretty good for taking phone calls. It wasn't why I purchased it but one day when I did get a phone call on my cell I was able to answer the call with ease and both my caller and I were able to hear each other quite well. I didn't know how to exit the call mode though so I had to unplug the transmitter to get it to play music again but that was just due to my lack of knowledge and reading the directions prior to use.

This device is super easy to use. At first I thought there was way too much background hiss and just when I was ready to send it back I noticed that the output volume can be adjusted. It was set way too low. All good now - I recommend you set the volume at the highest setting (30) on the transmitter so that your car's audio system doesn't amplify much hiss.

I'm editing my original review from the night I first tried the unit. It well and truly did disappoint before I figured out how to work around the limitations of the device.
Great packaging. Connects and gets up and running intuitively and fast. I initially tried using the transmitter in the "mid 88s" but all that did was take out one of my favourite stations while delivering compromised audio quality. Turning the volume to its highest setting was still not really loud and interference was bad. Moving to the other end of the FM spectrum produces a louder and clear signal. Remember to set BOTH your phone and the device to the maximum volume. Doing that and the volume control on the radio delivers pretty much the same loudness between the device and the surrounding FM stations. It might just be the nature of the radio stations in the Greater Toronto Area that result in this working for me. So, the audio performance for me is actually GOOD.
BUT I'm still probably returning this unit because the call performance isn't the best. I can hear who I call, but am advised that "you sound underwater and faint." Accordingly, I've ordered a Nulaxy KM30 because the reviews give it better calling marks. I will compare the performance between them and keep the better one. In the meantime, I guess "results may very" depending on the FM environment you're driving in, but the audio performance of mine is quite satisfying now that I've figured out how to use it.

This product is good, except that it doesn't work properly with my phone.
The skip controls work great, and I had no trouble using the radio transmitter. It also has the added bonus of being able to receive music through Bluetooth, and send it out the Aux port to the line- in of your radio.
The problem I had was with the pause button. With anyone else's phone I tried, the pause/unpause works perfectly, but on my Galaxy S20, it unpaused, then paused again a few seconds later. Going to try a different model, because this otherwise would have been perfect for me.

This is a great Bluetooth FM transmitter for any car that doesn't have one. It has two USB charging ports (2.4A 8 3.0A QC). It also has a MicroSD slot to play mp3s if you want to listen to music the old school way. The sound is very clear. I'd recommend using the channels 88.3, 88.5 or 88.7 as those have never let me down. This FM transmitter works perfect except for the fact that it sticks out too much in my car. There's nothing wrong with it since my cigarette lighter location is in an inconvenient spot. I opted to return this and will buy another shorter one from this company.

This device is giving me some trouble. At first it did not work at all in my car but I tried it in a friends car and it worked there. Tried it in my car again and suddenly it works however there are 3 issues I have.
#1 I can not touch the device once it is working because the slightest nudge causes it to disconnect. I then have to unplug it completely and re-insert it to get it to turn on again. Major hassle when driving.
#2 There is a constant ringing type of sound. It is not really noticeable when the music is playing but between tracks I can hear it and during quiet parts of songs I can hear it. Perhaps I dont have it set to a proper channel but I have tried 3 channels so far and all 3 have had the ringing.
#3 Since I was having trouble connecting through my cig lighter I decided to try connecting via the aux method and this did nothing at all. I tried 2 different aux cables including the one that came with the device and nothing happens. It doesnt turn on or anything.

I will say that once the device is on and it is working it sounds pretty good. Its loud and clear and connected to my phone without issues. Regardless of this I may decide to return it because its just to finicky.

I have only used it for a day, so I can't speak to longevity, but it feels like it's made of good sturdy materials. The music quality is awesome, no interference at all, but I do have to turn the volume up considerably higher than I would when playing a CD. I've only used it for one phone call so far, but the person on the other end said I was coming in crystal clear. I love that it's compact and has the gooseneck because my charge port is on the passenger side of the gear shift and doesn't have much space. This allows me to angle the device away from the gear shift, yet still have it facing me to speak and push buttons. Definitely recommend to anyone shopping for an FM transmitter.

Decent product but it has some issues

I've used it for a week now and there are a few things I found.
1) At first it connected to my car just fine, but I realised after going on a roadtrip how inconvenient it is to have the bluetooth sync to your radio. When I would leave a certain area, I would get random static because the station was out of range (I'm assuming??) so I had to keep adjusting the station.
2) After the 3rd day the device itself started to malfunction. The device became loose in the cigarette port so when I would go over a bump, it would disconnect and have to repair to my phone's bluetooth
3) The skipping forward button got stuck and now doesnt work unless I really press into it.
It was a good product for the first 3 days until it started to have problems. Maybe I have bad luck since I've heard good reviews about it, but I guess I'll have to go back to listening to the radio
