First off, these are some nice sets of dice. They look amazing and a brief visual inspection reveals no noticable flaws. The numbers are printed clearly and legibly, and they are not chipped or misshapen. If they were all perfectly balanced then they would be my favorite sets by far! I did both the salt water test and I rolled all the d20s 150 times each to determine if these dice were balanced. (I did rolls for the entire sets as well, but I won't get into those right now, as I consider the most important one to be the almighty d20.) Now, I'm new to the saltwater test, but I can say that at least one d20 and a couple other dice failed miserably. The d20 that failed rolled an average of 10.73, so it rolls higher on average. Your results might differ from mine, of course, but the worst average roll for me was 9.88. Only two d20s rolled averages that felt nicely balanced, being 10.53 and 10.46, while the other two d20s rolled averages of 10.01 and 10.27, so make of that what you will. They aren't so bad that you can't use them, but if you are the DM, then it might be a good idea to test them out first. I bought mine as gifts for family members so the kids who don't already have dice will get the most overall balanced sets. If you are buying them for yourself then I'm sure that you could mix and match dice from the sets to achieve at least one or two unique well-balanced sets. If you are buying them as party favors and stocking stuffers like I am, then you can't go wrong! Just be sure to warn your players if one is significantly off-balance.
As for the bags they each come in, they are much better quality than I expected. I was worried that they would be cheap foil that peels off the bag over time, but my fears were unfounded. The designs on the bag are the same quality as one might expect from a jewelry pouch—it's not coming off any time soon! The artwork is clean, the sewing is sound, and the drawstring keeps it closed tight, as expected.
In closing, these are beautiful dice in beautiful pouches. They are of excellent value for what you get. Yes, a few of them are unbalanced, but mine aren't so bad that I can't let my players use them. Even though most of mine rolled statistically lower, they still rolled high enough times to be useful.
