I have a DCP L2550DW printer and this is the first printer cartridge I bought to replace the original one. For my machine, it is super easy to install and the TN730 Brother Toner Cartridge comes with good simple instructions. Don't know how long the ink will last though but it prints sharp and dark on my Laser Printer.

I ordered two of these toners with the printer. I went through the two toner cartridges I ordered in no time at all. I ended up ordering another two toners to complete the job I was working on. It was large documents that I worked on but somehow, I thought that two cartridges would have been enough. I feel that for the price the cartridges do not hold enough toner. Price should be reduced in consequence.

UPDATE - Turns out it was the toner cartridge that was bad. Unfortunately I went and purchased another drum to find out.

This drum unit is more expensive than generic replacements. However, installing a genuine Brother replacement part works great. I have used generic parts in the past and always need to compesate for some reason or another. Sometimes they just don't work. That doesn't save money. I only use Brother parts now.
