I love this plan. I read some of the negative reviews on similar products and think many of the 1-star reviews are unfair, written by biased people who don't understand basic extended warranty concepts. My opinion is that if you are buying an electronic item on Amazon you should purchase this warranty, and here is why.

I bought headphones in January, and at the time the Asurion plan was 1.99. I thought whatever I'm already spending $60 and as this a serious investment (for running), an extra 2 bucks can't hurt. The MFG warranty was good for 90 days (as most electronics), and Amazon has returns up to 30 days, as well as some service/support up to 60 days.

Well here it is April, four months later, and I broke my headphones. Sometimes I run so much they just fly out of my head. I remembered I had the Asurion plan, looked up the item in my orders and proceeded with their instructions on filing a claim. I completed the entire claim online via chat messenger and it took about 6 minutes! I had a UPS label emailed to me within minutes and best part, I dropped the return package off today at UPS and within hours Asurion had emailed me the gift card for the full amount of the item.

I'm so happy I was immediately able to order my new headphones and they will be here in a couple of days, I can't believe how fast this all took. I will be purchasing this protection with all of my future amazon electronics orders.
