I was very pleased to be offered an Asurion warranty when I was purchasing my new kettle. It’s an expensive small appliance, and knowing it can be sent for repair (postage paid) or replaced has made me feed much better, and really gave me the confidence to get a higher end kettle. Not to mention, I abhor the throw out way of life and much prefer a fix if possible. This was much more affordable than a new appliance, and an excellent service.

I got the protection plan bc I didn't want to not have coverage if the blender was delivered broken.
Luckily, the delivery was smooth and nothing was cracked.

The safety coverage is for the next two years after purchase, and I think it's a fair price just in case!

Contacted them 5 times for warranty support on one item and not ONE response received. Scam. Don’t waste your money on extended warranties with them has they don’t honour them

We don’t usually purchase extended warranties, but we did after buying an air fryer / oven and we’re so glad we did. About a year and a half after making the purchase, the air fryer / oven began to function incorrectly.

I went to the Asurion website to begin the claim process. I figured it would be painful … requiring videos, several emails and phone calls, and etc. But no … I simply completed the claim form and Asurion sent me a prepaid UPS shipping label to send the item back. Within a few days of the initial claim filing, we were refunded our purchase price.

In a crazy, busy world, I welcome simplicity when it happens. This process couldn’t have been any easier or painless. We were so impressed that after purchasing a different brand of air fryer / convection oven, we also purchased another Asurion extended warranty … except this time we purchased a 4-year warranty rather than a 3-year warranty.

I was given a very nice espresso machine, which lasted about one year before I had issues. I had it sent to the repair company on Aurions dime, which fixed the issue for a month or so. Then it went down again and upon returning, Asurion informed me the part with the problem was no longer available. So Asurion returned the full purchase price which was around $600! So from now on I will cover my kitchen or any higher priced purchase with Asurion! Money well spent!

Paying for protection is worth it! My air fryer is used almost daily having young children. It randomly started shutting off in the middle of cooking food. It wouldn't happen all the time, but enough to be an inconvenience. I submitted a claim and sent it in with a prepaid label and received the amazon gift card in less than a week. Even if I spent $10 on the warranty (which i think it was less) - I will do it now for all purchases because its better than having to buy a new air fryer at $99!
