Amazon itself is a very easy and intuitive program to use. Asurion makes collecting the coverage so difficult that I wonder if this is a scam! They contacted me with step-by-step instructions which were not clear. I wrote back to them for an explanation of their instructions and 2 weeks later I have not received an answer. I assume they are hoping I will give up and they can keep my money.

I pay $136 for $3k policy $25 deductible for general college student insurance which includes everything short of intentionally damaging items. If the item is less than $50 I like to get asurion so i don't lose too much on an item breaking (so I don't lose anything at all)
