What is a Bodyguard for?

Rain + Mud = One Dirty Dog. We have the solution to a muddy undercarriage and legs after one of those rainy walks! It also works to protect fur from those snowballs that build in their coats during those snowy romps and protects against those sticky, prickly burs when out for summer hikes.

The Bodyguard covers the essentials and easily fastens with adjustable buckles. It features a cut out for your dog to do their business, while the rest of the suit covers the chest, stomach and legs.

Ne dérange pas du tout le chien lorsqu'il marche. Évite aux saleté d'aller sous le ventre et les pattes. Se lave facilement, juste rincer à l'eau et sécher et le tour est jouer. J'ai du recoudre un petit velcro qui serre autour des pattes, la couture avait lâché après avoir couru dans la neige. Sinon je l'aime bien et Lanka aussi!

This product arrived earlier than expected. I wouldn’t say that it is waterproof, but it does keep the mud and slush off of our golden retriever. She loves wearing them and they are easy to get on and off. Our golden retriever is about 75 pounds and we ordered the extra large and it fits perfectly. The reflective stripes are easily seen, so no problem with walking in the dark.

I don’t believe this was due to workmanship as she was missing for several minutes and must have been tugging very hard to get free.

Bought this to keep a 100lb golden retriever dry and clean in slushy conditions. The 2XL fit in the front, but back legs are sewn with the same dimensions as the front, so it's very baggy. For the price point, the materials and quality could definitely be better. It's very thin material and the stitching doesn't seem very reinforced - only one line. NOT entirely waterproof - water resistant only.

I have a Biewer Terrier with lots of long white hair, in the spring and fall she's a Swiffer mop catching leaves and twigs between her legs, when this happens she sits until I clear them, it can slow down a walk. :) On a wet winter day she just ends up damp strangly mop!!! With covid I want to get out through the winter for walks without having to shampoo and dry her afterwards. I spend hours hunting for something, pants or an outfit??? I went for these lightweight pants because I could use them throughout the year as needed.

In my search I found figuring the sizing on all brands difficult, Abby is a small dog, 8-9 pounds, 7" front legs but a little longer in the body at 12". I wanted legs that would cover her hair. I ended up ordering FOU FOU small dog medium to get the longer body. The length and front legs fit perfectly, the back legs are about an 1" too long. I needed to make a few adjustments, I tighten the elastic in each leg for a better fit and I added some pant elastic around the top to pull the top a little tighter. Prefect. Down the road I might cut the back legs up an inch and replace the Velcro with pant elastic, we'll see.

Added bonus, the reflective strips, they really stand out in evening walks, I have no doubt Abby can been seen. feels much safer. The pants really get noticed, we've been stopped a number of times on our walks by other dog walkers noticing or asking about the pants.

Pants suit the purpose, very good quality, really pleased with them, I would highly recommend them and order them again. No regrets!!!

After the first snow fall in NW PA, which was about 5 inches, I immediately began intense research on how to avoid a warm bath after every potty break to melt the snow balls covering my doodle from toe to elbow. I came across these pants and was not sure if my 55 lb boy would tolerate them or if he'd be able to move around in them comfortably. I strapped him in and my heart melted at how much he resembled a young boy begging to go build a snowman.
