So, I have a 42" TV. I had read the reviews on this mounting bracket and all of them said how heavy duty it was and that it could hold way more weight than a 39". My TV seemed to be particularily light so I ordered it. When I finally got around to hanging my TV using this bracket there was one thing I didn't count on. I guess there is a jump in spacing involving the TV's built-in screw holes for a mounting bracket with any size after a 39" TV. Either way I wasn't going to return it so I went to the hardware store and picked up 4 qty. 6" x 3/4" zink 'mending plates'. I also got some screws (1/4 by 1/2" long) , matching nuts and lock washers. I used that to extend the 'arms' so that it would reach the wider spaced holes.. Needless to say, It worked perfectly and the mount hasn't a single issue holding my 42" Sharp TV.I'm very pleased with this mounting bracket. It works on what it says and with only a slight modification it works with larger TV's too.UPDATE: I was asked to add some pics of the modification so it would work on a larger physical TV that is still reasonably light. Mine happens to be a Sharp 42" lcd

Similar units are priced in the $125-$165 at the big box stores and are not superior by any means.
Comes with a level for accurate installation
Easy to install but unit must be anchored to a stud, can use minimum 3/16" - 1/4" toggle bolts if only mounted to drywall but not optimal.

I had a little trouble finding the stud to mount this unit into, but that my problem, not a problem with the product. I was concerned, living in an older home, that it may be too heavy for the wall but it’s held up wonderfully. The joints are firm enough that it doesn’t move around unintentionally, they hold in place great. But it is fairly easy to change the placement of the tv when needed. I haven’t found a valid reason for the tv to be able to flip upside down but it’s a good laugh when friends mention how much they like the bracket (“well look at the weird thing it does for some reason”).
It’s pretty compact, surprisingly heavy. It’s all made of metal, comes with a little mini level, as well as most of the necessary tools (no stud finder, though I wouldn’t have expected them to put in such an expensive tool).
The price is cheap but the quality of this bracket is anything but.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive, slim, easy to install (I did I my self start to finish), versatile and effective tv mount, I’d put my money on this one over and over again

I bought three of these to mount 24inch monitors in my home office. It's definitely worth the price (less than half the price as other mounts). It is strong and sturdy. The instructions were crystal clear. It took less than 10 minutes to install one of these (with the right tools). very easy to change orientation and swivel without having to touch any screws or nuts. I'd definitely recommend this product.
However, when you mount more than one monitors you definitely need the ability to move monitors up and down. I used a level to make sure I mount all three brackets perfectly horizontal, but still ended up with 2-4mm difference in height between the monitors, which is bound to happen. So when you put the monitors together you clearly see they are not perfectly aligned and you notice more when working on a window that spans across both monitors. It'll be nice if the bracket allows a vertical and a horizontal adjustment after mounting the monitors (even adjustable to just a centimetre both ways).
If you are mounting to the studs you cant have both monitors flush to the wall and have the edges meet in a continuous fashion. There is a huge gap between two monitors. It'll be great to be able to move a part of the arm left and right while it is flush against the wall. I had to pull both monitors front and tilt them a little bit to have the edges meet.

I needed a wall mount to install a 21" flat screen TV over a corner of my hobby work desk but was not prepared to pay the prices at local big box or department stores. A search on Amazon quickly found several and this is the one I selected, hoping it would be sturdy enough and have adequate mounting hardware. I need not have had any worries. The three articulation joints on the arm and the spherical TV plate bearing are sturdy but readily move to the desired position and hold the TV steady one positioned. The actual wall mounting plate is sturdy and being vertically configured to fit on a single 2x stud makes for a simple installation. The lag screws and a wide variety of machine screws and spacers are also provided to fit any TV in the advertised size range. Overall one of my better Amazon buys!

This imcluded lots of extra screws and other parts such as bracket extenders so it should work on a wide vareity of TVs. It also comes with a leveler and a mini wrench that came in handy. Clear instructioons. Easy to install. Well built. Only issue is reattaching tv with bracket in to the extension. I did it myself but its a two person job ( one person to hold tv and the other to screw in the screws back to the bracket. Get a stud finder to fimd your studs and best to use an impact drill to drive the screws into the stufs ( drill a pilot hole first).
