My Dog is 50lbs. This ramp holds his weight easily. Solid frame. Top is vovered with a carpeting but it's very flat and did not provide enough grip for my dog as he is blind now. I placed another carpet over top. There are slight elevated grooves that also help getting up the ramp. I would recommend this. Several height options as well.

I was disappointed with this product, and it is quite costly, which adds to the frustration. Firstly, it is not made out of nice wood. Instead, cheap laminate is used. On mine they were lazy enough to use laminate that itself was not made properly and has dark blotches within its plastic. Secondly, the carpet material used is cheap and slippery. It’s basically a carpeted slide. My 10 pound dog, who is usually adventurous, is afraid to use the ramp because he can’t get traction. I’m going to have to take it somewhere to have a rubberized surface applied to replace or cover the carpet material that was used. It is quite heavy and cumbersome, coming in a single piece. I imagine this makes returning the ramp even more of a costly headache.

In the description it says...
The walking surface of the dog ramp is covered high traction fabric rug with grooved. There are 4 crossbars added to the dog ramps for provide maximum claw grip for your dog and pet. It's can avoid to slip and fall when climb.
But instead it came with a black rubber mat. The smell of rubber was quite strong when I opened the package. And because it's black my cat wouldn't use it at first. For some reason she avoids black. Had some steps that were covered in black carpet and she wouldn't use them, but did when I covered the steps in a lighter coloured towel. Same with the ramp, I put a towel over it and she used it. Anyway, a week later and I'm still smelling a faint smell of rubber.
Otherwise, not a bad ramp. It's a little short so I had to elevate the end of the ramp a bit so it's wasn't so steep.
Will give it another week to see if the smell dissipates.
