Reload

With Reload, you can add funds to your Amazon Gift Card balance with a one-time, manual reload on a date of your choice.

Auto-Reload

Auto-Reload

With Auto-Reload, you can automate fund transfers to your Amazon Gift Card balance.

Threshold adds a fixed amount to your balance when the balance gets low (e.g. when balance drops below $10, add a $100 gift card).

Frequency adds a fixed amount on a regular schedule (e.g. monthly, weekly, daily).

How does it work and how will I be charged when I sign up for Auto-Reload?

Each reload transaction adds funds to your Amazon gift card balance and you will be able to select the payment method of your choice at checkout.

Are there any maintenance fees for the funds I reload and does the balance I reload expire?

No. Amazon Does not charge any fees for you balance and there is no expiration date for the balance you reload.

What can I use my balance to shop for?

You can use your balance toward eligible items on Amazon, including physical products, digital content, and offers from third party merchants.

Can I change my Auto-Reload setting?

Yes. Go to the Your Account View Gift Card Balance page to change the amount of the Auto-Reload, the amount to trigger the Auto-Reload, or to turn off Auto-Reload.

Not easy to cancel. I tried to modify my auto reload to come out on a different date because even though I chose a Friday for it to come out when I got the email that it was set up it showed it was coming out on Thursday. I hit cancel and tried again to set up the correct date and now it takes it out on both days!!! Not sure how to get rid of the wrong one because if you select "modify" it sets up a new withdrawal. Not impressed with it.

I believe that by increasing the minimum balance from $1 to $5 amazon will lose more customers and money than if they kept it at $1, as many amazon customers use small balances remaining on prepaid credit cards to top up their amazon balance. However, with the minimum balance increased to $5, they will instead use those prepaid credit cards elsewhere.

Pk plein gens se plaignent moi je cherchait un option exact comme reload vous devez pas acheter souvent sur des site internet la je pourrai prendre tous mes restant carte et les accumuler si vous achetiez souvent des prépayé pour jeux bouffe vous auriez trouver sa cool en passant vous chier dans les main du plus riche du monde en disant moi je ferais pas comme sa tes centaine de milliard ben oui sa existe la preuve xbox a achetez bethesda pour 70 milliard

I used to use up my remaining balance on pre-paid cards for amazon purchases. Now I have to find somewhere else to spend that money because Amazon won't let me anymore.

This used to be amazing for the small change leftover on a prepaid Visa. now it has a minimum $5 reload, meaning my $4.83 balance can't be added. Awful change to an otherwise great feature.

Sucks to suck, Amazon doesn't want your $4.93.
