I purchased the Artfone 3G Unlocked for my father as a gift. It arrived April 15. My father was happy with the cell up to today. The screen on the phone looks distorted and you cannot access any of the options. I called Amazon and was told it is past their return policy??? I guess you get a 1 month warranty?? Not a happy customer

I purchased this phone for my mother who was having difficulty with operating a smart phone.
This phone has large buttons , incredible volume and "tells " you what button you've pushed. It says "one" when you press 1 etc.
It is less than intuitive when it comes to setting it up but , with a little effort, works fine.
The only issue we're having is with battery life. It does not last for even a couple hours.
I have contacted the seller and they decided to send me a link to where I can buy another battery?!!
This is a new phone. Shouldn't the battery work when the the phone is new?
I think that I will unfortunately have return this item. I wish the seller would make it right because she likes this phone :-(

My wife is in a nursing home & has no desire to learn to use a ssmartphone. I got her non-smart easy to use phone which bit-the-dust. Then I got her another one by a different manufacturer which according to reviews was supposed to have speed dial which she has to have due to limited use of her hands. As it turned out you have to toggle through your favorites then click on the person you want to call, some "speed dial". I was getting frustrated trying to find her a phone she could use. This artfone looked like it might be the one for her according to the picture & description. I got it yesterday, put the sim in, set it up. It is a very nice looking phone and has big numbers. For speed dial you can set A and B and 9 more numbers. Plus you have the option for answering to press any key or open it up which will really be convenient for her. It has typical menu options for a phone in this price range. So far battery life seems to be good. The only minus I would give it is the manual. It gives the basics but you will have to play around with it to figure out some stuff such as call & ringer volume and the like. Overall I am very happy with the phone as I'm sure my wife will be.
I recommend this phone.
Follow up: I can hear her well, her volume needed to be set to 7 to hear me well. Of course this depends on the person.
