They are truly extra large. Great bags for storing food.
We regularly buy the medium and large sized versions of the Ziploc freezer bags and have done so for years. They seal easily and very well. The plastic is good and solid keeping foods from getting freezer burn. In addition to freezing food, we also use them for cold cuts, veggies and cheeses once we get them out of their original wrapping. My wife washes them out and reuses them depending on what was stored in them.These extra large bags are truly extra large. So often one purchases an item that states it is extra large only to be disappointed. Well this is not one of those. You can fit a decent sized chicken in them fairly easily. I have included a picture to show relative size to a 1.89 liter Clamato bottle. They seal up as easily as the smaller versions.
