I have bought this to be able to convert my PIXEL 3XL earphone (USB-C male) to convert to an audio jack. When plugged in my female audio jack of the PC....The PC can recognize/ the plug but is not able to send the sound back to the earphone. USELESS.

It does play sound but when it comes to charging, the port on the cable coming from the split to the charger, it gets super hot. Like It's bout to start a fire. So beware of this problem. Hopefully the manufacturers fix this issue. I will keep it cuz it plays my music while I'm driving my personal car. Will not recommend this product to anyone.

Audio quality and levels are great. Actually, the audio levels are better than the Apple usb-c aux dongle I'd been using. Cable feels sturdy and should last well.

Just three small complaints:
1. the popping sounds when you plug it in and it turns on
2. the usb-c plug seems loose in some phones, and doesn't hold connection unless you keep it still. (My phone works great though)
3. Apparently not compatible with a Motorola G Power (2022). It would only recognize it as a charger.

Other than these, I really do like it!
