I got the chance to compare two dash cams side by side; this 2-channel camera by Yansoo ($70-30%) and a 3-channel by LIYIYES.My expectations for a dash cam:1) Retain at least 10 minutes of footage before I eject the card to retain evidence.2) Capture usable audio and video3) Plug-and-play (I want it to automatically start and stop when I hop in without having to read any manuals)It's like a "free" airbag. I hope I never need it, but if I do, I'm okay if it hurts a little, but it can't be poking me in the belly every morning or it's not worth the hassle and I'd rather spend more for convenience. With those expectations in mind, this is a solid product.1) The files are fairly small (it splits the footage into multiple 3 minute clips of about 250 megs) so on the included 64GB card you get 3-4 hours of video on both cams using the settings it came with out of the box. In that regard, this more than meets my expectations.A nitpick: the audio is recorded in BOTH files. It's not like this is studio quality sound so I'm sure it doesn't have much of an effect -- probably only lose a few minutes of recording time because of it -- but I don't think the duplicated audio was necessary.2) The picture quality from the front camera was better than the rear, but neither were good. The optics could have been 4K but if the dash cam's ability to compress the data and write that to the disk is bad, the video will be too. I think that's the issue with this camera (because better quality recording components are cheap). The video isn't smooth, and the details are fairly fuzzy. You can make out the broad strokes, but calculating speed based on dashes on the road could be an issue depending on angle. The video is passable, but it's not good enough for me to feel confident I'll be able to prove my side of the story if I need to.3) The recording started when I turned the vehicle on, and stopped when I pulled the key. Note that I do have two 12V plugs -- one that's always on and one that turns on and off with the vehicle -- and it's important that you don't leave this plugged to an always-on port. This Yansoo camera's 12V plug has a USB port on the back which could be useful for some, but my last 2 vehicles had built in USB ports so I'd have preferred a power LED instead. The up front price is fairly low, but all dash cams require consumables (the flash cards will eventually burn out, they have fixed "write cycle" lifetimes and burn out, then need to be replaced). I'd rather pay a little more up front to get better footage because the day something "tiktokable" happens, I'd rather have high quality video that I can more easily sell to a media company. If I'm going to keep paying for this thing to keep running, I'd feel better if I could pretend it's a lottery ticket; with the quality this produces it's more a "hope it's okay in court" situation.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
Quick Review:
This is a pretty decent front / rear dash camera package that's easy to use.
It's a basic unit that lacks any APP or Wi-Fi which some may prefer.
Build quality is pretty good, and you get enough cable to both plug the unit in as well as route the rear camera cable. I prefer to hard wire mine so that I don't lose the use of the 12V outlet though.
Video quality is decent enough the front camera. The rear is also fairly good. Both cameras suffer in dark conditions like highway driving, but most all others suffer as well.
The large 3 inch display is big enough to use / see clearly.
Includes a 64GB SD card which a lot do not, another plus.
Fairly decent value for your dollar here.
Overall it works pretty good, and I really don't have too many complaints here.
