Impressive Guitar
These are beauty solid top guitars at this price point. Photo does not do these guitars justice, the one I got looks more like a bourbon burst finish. Finish and machine heads top notch, neck is satin and guitar has scalloped bracing. The 'Folk' FS800 is concert size, slightly smaller body than a dreadnaught. The biggest difference is body is about 1/2 inch shallower than a dread. Yamaha shown beside a Simon & Patrick dread for size compare. The only down side is the slightly narrower string spacing. It is standard at the nut, but narrower at the bridge compared to other guitars which takes getting used to(fingerstyle and picking). This is my first Yamaha will not be my last, these are tough to beat if You are looking at guitars in this range.

I bought this for my SO, as she wants to get into guitar playing. Although it is pricey, I was told by a friend of mine who has been into guitar playing for years that this is a quality entry level guitar to go with. That makes this worth the money to spend. And she told me she already loves it... So, I highly recommend it.

Very fast shipping time! Arrived a few days earlier than the ETA. Guitar was in great shape when it arrived. As for the guitar, it exceeded expectations. A fantastic musical instrument for anyone looking for a beginner guitar.
