Great build quality, unit shipped promptly, easy to use. In stock config / no changes made at all to the 'mount bracket' it was trivial to just attach a web-cam on to the tripod with the standard 'camera mount' thread-in-screw
I believe we can easily swap over mount to have it 'hold a smartphone' or similar. but for my application here we wanted to have a webcam mounted so it was perfect. The tripod expands easily to a very good height, even if on the floor it is nice and tall. It is very lightweight and not too heavy duty/bulky but still sturdy.
