Full Featured Ring Light w/Phone & Camera Mounts
What’s Included:- The stand comes with a detachable 3 leg base, 12” light ring with a USB-A power connector, a flexible arm phone mount, non-flexible phone mount, ¼” camera mount, GoPro mount, BT remote & a user manual.First Impressions:- The base is separate from the pole and needs to be screwed into place. I’m not sure of the durability with this design. Screwing in the post also prevents proper alignment of the post to the base. If one of the legs are supposed to point forward, tightening the post until it’s tight causes the top to be off center which causes the light to be mounted in a slight angle to the mount. I would rather have the post permanently mounted to the base which would eliminate alignment issues like this.- The power cord for the light is a good length, but the power switch is near the bottom of the cable which makes it very difficult to access. It should have been closer to the light so whatever height you adjust the post, the light switch is always in a convenient location.- The remote uses a standard CR2032 battery which are very easy to find replacements if needed.- The camera mounts feel a bit cheap as they flex and creek when opened. They are also very shallow, so it will not hold thicker phones/cases.- When fully extended, the stand is very tall at 6ft, so more than enough height to record selfies while standing.First Use:Connected the light to a power bank which allows it to be used anywhere. The light ring has no light hotspots and produces a very smooth diffused light and therefore reduces the shadows produced. It has 3 colour temps, unfortunately, it’s not listed in the specs, but I’m guessing somewhere at 2700K/3500K/4-5000K. My photos don’t provide the proper colour temps. It has 10 brightness levels to choose from. You can install the phone mount with the bendable arm into the middle of the light. I’m not a huge fan of this bendable arm as the camera is either in front of the light ring or behind it, no way to have it sit perfectly in line with the ring due to the bendable arms design.Taking selfies or recording videos is very easy as the light ring is large enough to provide good lighting all around the camera.Pros:- Super tall when fully extended and can be at eye level for a 6ft user- Light is soft and diffused, no hot spots- Light has a full 180° range of motion- Multiple mount optionsCons:- Tripod base and post are separate pieces, assembling causes the post/top mounts to be off center from the base. An attached base/post would have eliminated this issue.- Power switch for the light ring is very close to the ground/USB power port end, so the power button sits very low on the light even when fully extended.- The phone holders are very shallow and don’t support thick phones/cases, plus they feel cheap.- The bendable phone mount arm causes the phone to sit in front or behind the light ring as it’s not flexible enough to get into the perfect angle/position.- Aluminum body could have been thicker or denser as it feels a bit thin/light.Final Impression:Overall, the Yohoolyo 12” light ring tripod stand worked very well. It provides good light output that is diffused and produces smooth lighting with no hotspots and little shadows. The stand can extend tall enough to be at eye level for a 6ft user if required or as low as 19” for tabletop use. A lot of mounting options are included, but I do wish they were better quality mounts.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
This ring light feels pretty professional; it is very well built, strong and sturdy, with a huge ring light, a pole that can extend high, and a responsive remote. This ring light should work well for making videos and vlogs for social media, taking selfies, video calls, and more.

I was impressed with how sturdy the stand is, from the metal legs to the metal pole that can extend high, and all the attachments. It is very easy and intuitive to put together and you can also look at the instruction manual which has good instructions. It comes with the tripod legs, the selfie stick which is also an extendable pole, the ring light which is huge, the locking knob, a phone holder, a flexible phone holder, the USB cord with a buttons on it to control the light and which ends in a USB plug, a wireless Bluetooth remote control, and also a GoPro attachment.

I used the flexible phone holder and it held my phones (my current one in a case, my old one not) beautifully in the middle of the huge light. The Bluetooth remote paired instantly with my phone and I was happily surprised that it actually worked, and I could take photos and videos at the click of a button which I have never been able to do with my Android phones before.

The controller on the cable allows you to turn the light on and off, change the color mode (there are three modes), and also turn the brightness up or down. There is a white light mode, a warm white mode, and a yellow mode, and you can adjust the levels of brightness and choose which one makes you or your scenery look better.

I love that the pole can go to any heights that I wanted it to. I set it to the height for me for sitting, but it can extend far if you're standing or there are more people to get in the photo or video. The cable for the light has a USB connection; I wish that they'd included a USB adapter so it can plug into a regular outlet. But you can also plug it into any USB port, a power bank, even a computer or a laptop.

I tried out the ring light where I usually sit to make video calls and I was so impressed at the difference it made. I went from having shadows all over my face to completely getting rid of the shadows and brightening up my face. And I was happy to find that the ring light remembered the last setting of light that I wanted as long as it was plugged in.

I'm impressed with how sturdy and stable this tripod stand is, how big and bright the ring light is, how steadily it holds my phone, and the ways I can adjust it. It feels like a really high quality ring light.
