The buttons have a very pleasant press and the sticks feel very accurate from small to large movements, the deadzone is very small but there isn't any drift.
I had constant problems with pairing the controller with the iPad and Macbook, the first pairing would work, but the device would not pair afterwards.
The controller is also way too expensive for what it is, it's a very nice controller but it doesn't do anything better than a $50 controller. You might think the back paddles would be useful, but 99% of games are designed for normal controllers and don't do anything to take advantage of extra buttons.
One of the standout features of this controller is its versatility. The seamless compatibility across various devices allows me to enjoy my favorite games wherever I go, whether I'm gaming on my console, PC, or mobile device. The setup process is quick and hassle-free, and I appreciate the convenience of being able to switch between devices effortlessly.
The ergonomic design of the controller ensures a comfortable grip during extended gaming sessions, reducing fatigue and enhancing overall gameplay experience. The textured grips provide added control and precision, giving me the confidence to tackle even the most challenging gaming situations with ease.
The responsive buttons and triggers deliver smooth and accurate inputs, allowing for seamless gameplay across a wide range of genres. Whether I'm navigating through intense firefights or executing precise maneuvers in racing games, the controller's responsiveness never disappoints.
I also love the vibrant Pulse Red color scheme, which adds a touch of personality to my gaming setup. The build quality is top-notch, with durable materials that feel solid and well-constructed.
Overall, the Xbox Core Wireless Gaming Controller has exceeded my expectations in every way. It offers unparalleled performance, comfort, and versatility, making it the perfect choice for gamers of all levels. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of a high-quality gaming controller. Five stars without hesitation!
All gamers spending a good amount of time gaming deserve this controller. It'll last you a long time. And look good doing it.
First off, the weight of this controller really gives it a substantial feel in the hand, so it doesn't feel like you're holding a flimsy piece of plastic in your hand. Second, the hard, rubberized soft-touch plastic that they use is REALLY nice in the hand, and while I think it'll eventually wear out with heavy use, it still feels way better than any PS controller I've ever held. As for the buttons and joysticks, they also carry on the sense of quality. The joysticks are rubberized and have a knurled design on them which helps with grip and the concave design means your thumbs won't slide off them very easily. The triggers feel like you're pressing INTO them rather than just pressing them like conventional buttons, which feels cool with FPS and arcade games. Even though I don't use the metal triggers on the bottom, they do feel nice and it's convenient if I ever need to use them (which I will eventually when I start playing more PC games)
As for battery life, I started using it out of the box and so far it's still not dead, so I trust that this controller won't die quickly. The case that comes with it includes an extra set of controls to switch out the default ones, as well as a magnetic stand that holds the controller in place, which is very fancy dancy!
As for connectivity, there's definitely latency or delayed input between pressing a button an it registering on the screen when using Bluetooth, but it's not enough to distract or bother me to the point where it becomes unplayable. If you think it'll bother you, I suggest getting the XBOX Bluetooth adapter, since I've heard online that it does help a bit with latency (or just plug it in directly to your PC/XBOX).
Extra niceties: it uses USB-C for charging and connectivity, so if you already use USB-C for your phone (or in my case, my phone and my laptop), you can rest easy knowing that you don't always have to carry the included cable with you (I personally use an existing USB-C to USB-C cable when plugging the controller into my laptop).
NOTE: make sure you update the controller via plugging it into your PC if you're going to use this on your Android phone. If you immediately connect it you your phone the first time without updating it, the buttons won't be properly mapped to your game, but instead will navigate around your phone (exit the game, change apps, open the Search bar, etc.).

Here's what I appreciate about it:
1. **Textured Grips and Triggers:** The Shock Blue controller features textured grips and triggers, which is fantastic. This is especially helpful for intense gaming sessions when sweaty palms can be a problem.
2. **Seamless Compatibility:** When connected to my PC running Windows, the controller was instantly recognized and worked flawlessly out of the box. Even better, when gaming on Linux, it required no additional configuration—the Linux Kernel already supports this controller.
3. **Comfort and Reach:** Despite being lighter and slightly smaller than the Xbox 360 controller, the Xbox Wireless controller fits well in my large hands. All buttons, triggers, joysticks, and the d-pad are within easy reach.
4. **Smooth Joysticks and Improved D-Pad:** The joysticks move smoothly, and the d-pad design strikes a balance between the circular pad of the 360 controller and the clickiness of the Xbox One's d-pad. Hitting diagonals is now more intuitive
5. **Battery Compartment:** The battery compartment now is flush with the rest of the back of the controller as opposed to sticking out like it did with the XBox 360 Wireless controller. This allows the controller to fit more comfortably in the hands without feeling the battery compartment sticking out or bumping into your fingers.
Overall, a great purchase. Highly recommend this controller for your gaming needs!
