  5. The wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver are not functioning properly.

    1.The receiver isn't picking up the antenna signal properly. Please reconnect it in this order: First, connect the USB port of the RX and power supply, then connect the HDMI port and monitor.

    2.Not enough power supply. Please use a 5V2A adapter to power the transceiver.

    The HDMI Wireless only transmits image, there is no audio being transmitted.

    Please check if the stereo sound is turned on and if it is, please turn it off.

    To do this, please access the system settings on the transmitting device-> Sound-> Switch the speaker.

Have had this for several months now and it works great. You’ll need to have each of the RX and TX units powered up using a UBS-C connection (UBS or UBS-C can be on the other end). On the TX side you can connect the UBS-C to your laptop or your multiport hub for power. On the RX side just plug your UBS to your little charger plug.

Pro-tip #1- having an extra male-female HDMI extension is useful if the units are unable to connect adequately in your HDMI port.

Pro-tip #2. - When shopping, make sure you don’t buy a dongle to simply mirror your RX side - if it doesnt say that the RX side can act as a display extension, chances are it only mirrors, which is inconvenient for PowerPoint presentations in Presenter mode. This unit is perfect for Presenter mode.

I'm a teacher and use it to project slides to a Promethean Board. I have also used it to play short (under 5 min) videos with no issues. I use it to extend my laptop screen.

It gives me more options as to where I can set up my laptop in class. I am currently about 13 ft from the Promethean board; it's worked just as well when I was originally set up about 23 ft from the Promethean board.

For me, it truly was plug and play the first time I used it. One thing to note, I have to keep my laptop plugged in or at least close to an outlet, because the transmitter does consume power quickly. For now, I'm going to continue using it because it's convenient for my setup.

As others have noted, it is a large plug in unit, so may clash with other connectors.
