Works great! Now it automatically connects every time I get into the car, without having to take my phone out of my pocket. Still keeping the cord for charging, but this method of wireless CarPlay is so much faster and convenient! I’ve tried out texting with Siri, maps, and my music library/Apple Music. Works flawlessly. No lag.
Glad I got it on while on sale, but it’s completely worth the non-sale price!
The only minor problem is when two people who have each previously connected to the device are both in the vehicle at the same time when the device tries to pair at start-up. The device will not automatically connect to one user - manual pairing is required and sometimes takes a few attempts. Otherwise, very happy with the performance of this product.
But this is super fast, i turn on my car and within 3-4 seconds my phone gets connected to my car. I have not had any issues with it so far 🤞. A great product, with a satisfying nature. If you are looking for something like this this is the best so far.
Before installing, I paired it to check for a firmware update (it had the newest firmware already installed).
After that, installation could not have been more simple. Plugged into the primary USB on the Pioneer aftermarket head unit and the device was immediately recognized. I was prompted on screen to connect to the adapter Bluetooth and once I did, CarPlay started up right away. Have been using it for a few days now, and it connects quickly once the car is started up, and have had zero issues with connection stability.
Would definitely recommend.
Surprisingly anyfar team replied to me in a couple of hours and confirmed a few details about my car model, exact issue etc, I still was not convinced that everything would be resolved, but gave them the details anyways.
Boom, their next reply was that - they understood based on my explanation that I received a defective product and they would send me a replacement. this was on the 26th Apr and on 28th Apr I found a package on my porch. An advanced A4 pro adapter :) This time I just plugged the device in, connected on bluetooth and viola - my carplay was working .... THANK YOU ANYFAR team, this is a little but mighty device ... kudos and great customer service :)
Connection is easy and no termination of its connectivity.
The USB connection tof our Car Play system to this wireless adapter can be a Pain at times...

Then a company car had wireless CarPlay and I learned that lag was normal. Sometimes it didn’t start up either, but not often, and I’d have to wait until I could restart the car to make it work.
When I purchased this one I knew what to expect: some lag and occasional problems. I put it in my ‘24 Forte, using a piece of Velcro to secure it to the underside of the compartment.
I have not had a problem with this unit and I’ve been using it for nearly a month. The technology is much improved in the past few years. First of all, the hardware is smaller. There is a lag, though it is much faster than I’ve had before. Said lag is very minimal, and I usually don’t notice it. The unit is responsive and starts every time. It has never crashed. I’m very happy with it.
For the size, speed, and reliability, I recommend this product wholeheartedly.

The video shows how fast it connects the first time I turn the car on during the day. It is loaded and ready to use before I even leave my house. Throughout the day connection is way quicker and efficient, taking less time. Still I don't mind the startup in the morning since it connect automatically within 30 seconds without having to do anything on my phone or car.
Sound quality is amazing, it plays and sounds just like wired would and radio, you don't lose quality. There is a bit of a lag between switching songs but only about 1 second or so which I don't mind since it works well with the carwheel controls and I know the song will change it only changes the title first and takes a second for sound to catch up. Still it is one of the fastest I've seen on the market.
The screen has no lag at all as you can see when I open the Spotify app and change the songs on the screen.
All and all I've had this product for 3 months and it has worked excellent for all that time, never had an issue where it unpaired or wouldn't turn on or connect since I plugged it in the first time. I rate 10/10, would definitely purchase again and have recommended to so many people with factory installed wired CarPlay.

I seldom give a 5 star review as things are never perfect, or setup could be better, etc. But this just worked!
My quirk... my vehicle has 2 inputs and the AnyFar connects to my phone and when I plug in my phone on the other input to charge, the AnyFar stays the connected device. This is not an AnyFar issue, but an issue with my vehicle or CarPlay as I have not been able to find a way to switch to the device I want to use unless I unplug the AnyFar device. This is not a negative on the device, just a quirk I've come across as I've used it and it has more to do with my vehicle and/or CarPlay but others may run into this issue. But so far, I have not come across any issues where I would have to use the device plugged in rather than the AnyFar device, so in reality while it irks me I can't choose the connection, it doesn't interfere with me using CarPlay.
UPDATE: After using this for a bit, I won't change my rating, but update on the quirk. I find that if I plug my phone in as well, it does not always work so well. I believe this is an issue with either CarPlay or my vehichle's implementation. I unplug the phone and AnyFar resumes flawlessly. It's like my entertainment system is getting confused and isn't sure which to go with. I had already planned to get a charging pad to put in the car anyway, so I don't plan to plug in often, hence this will works fine for me.
I have a LandRover. So depending on the model of LandRover or Jag, you may see similar issues if you have 2 input ports. Not sure if other manufacturers have a similar problem or not.

My car is a 2018 Mercedes S450. Wired Carplay is virtually trouble free. When I added this product it took maybe 30 seconds for the initial connection. Things appeared normal and I was very hopeful.
As a computer networking professional I can tell you, the functionality of products like this depends heavily on how much data [MBPS] they can consistently transfer bidirectionally. Clearly a cable is going to be faster and more reliable than wireless but the question is, can the wireless connection keep up to the point of not becoming a bottleneck. When it can't, you'll start seeing spotty performance.
In the case of this device, I found it worked fine as long as you just wanted to listen to music or some other light usage scenario. If you're a Carplay power user and need to navigate, participate in conference calls or use Homekit for example, data bottlenecks can show up and start causing issues. That was the case for me and it has caused me to revert right back to that $15.00 cable I was trying to replace. There were days when I'd be driving and try to join a call, navigate or use Homekit functions, only to find they wouldn't work, even though the device had seemed to connect normally at the start of my trip. It wasn't long before I started keeping a cable in the car for such cases. It wasn't long after that before I realized the cable was actually all I needed. I lost the packaging for this adapter or it would have been on it's way back.
Don't get me wrong, if you're a light user and can deal with the flakiness, you may find this product useful. For those of us who depend on Carplay for more than entertainment, however, I'd stick with the wired connection or get a car that supports wireless natively.
