I received both of my Evolux bulbs with the purchase of an echo dot.

They were really easy to set up with Alexa, they are bright, and quick to respond.

However, on occasion they decide to stop connecting which is only frustrating because you have to delete them from Alexa, then re-add them and name them and yada yada.

Overall, they are great smart bulbs, and they were 'free' with the purchase of the echo dots.

we use it with our amazon echo, our wifi is not always the best signal in our area and when it dips out the lights can become unresponsive even with a small connection. we also sometimes find that even though both lights are linked to the same room, it will occasionally only turn on one of them. takes a bit of work to figure out proper wording for commands and how to switch colours.

have had these since last christmas and forgot to review.
they worked really well for a few months in accordance with alexa commands etc. the colour range is fabulous, as well, they have some different colour changing settings that were really fun to play with during the holidays. lots of customization options.
now absolutely are not able to be recognized or can be turned on via alexa on our amazon tablet, but alexa cant find them unless you scan the qr code again to reset them.
there may be some network issues or issues with alexa that causes this, but all bulbs were on the same network, using alexa devices, working just fine...then stopped being able to be recognized.
initially they were great and so easy to set up.
seems they dont have their own dedicated app, wish they did, I feel like this wouldnt be an issue if there was a dedicate app for controls. weve long since thrown away the manuas with the qr codes, so my advice, makes sure you keep the qr codes stores some where and label them so you know which is which.
will reconfigure the networks and alexa devices and try to troubleshoot and hopefully can resolve the issue because we really loved them&got them as a part of a promotion when buying the alexa speakers.

Of ALL the smart bulbs, Switches etc I have purchase for my "dumb home" this bulb is by far the worst. As anyone who knows... who has dealt with this stuff... ease of "re-connection" and "re-setting up your devices" can be a bigger pain in the YOU KNOW WHAT when we all USED TO have a simple "switch" we flicked up(on) down(off) for a century now. Of the 3 brands I have tried...this thing will simply NOT RESET... it is SUPPOSED to go into a setup mode after turning the switch on/off 3 times(trust me, ive tried fast/slow/delayed etc)... it will NOT reset.... it is a total DUD. I have managed to get my KASA(TP-LINK) devices going again...and the GOVEE stuff was a bit of a pain but eventually worked too.. but THIS THING? I'm about to drive over it with my Dodge RAM 3500 4x4 diesel 3/4 ton dually long-box pickup just to watch the glass shatter under the wheel. Complete GARBAGE! No wonder it was offered as a "bundle" with an "Alexa echo"... grrrr
