The case itself does hold up the Crayola classic Markers and has a smooth zipper.However, I purchased this version specifically for the cute face without the nose ( as shown in the photo). Our arrived with a nose. It would’ve been so much cuter if we had received the one advertised. I’ll still keep it as its a good price point for it’s very practical functionality.

I love the colour and it's tall enough to fit my (normal size) pens. I have a ruler that folds in half, and unfortunately I have to stuff it in on an angle to be able to close the case, but I didn't buy it specifically to carry that so it's fine. I think you could probably comfortably fit about 8 to 10 pens/pencils while still easily using the folding function of the case. You may want something larger or even a separate case if you plan to carry around more than that. I thought it would be a round base, but it's got a sort of rectangular shape with rounded corners. I shopped around for pricing for the function I wanted, so the cost is fine for this product. Overall, I like it enough to get a second one to hold the pens I use for a different function.

This pencil case is super cute. The kawaii design is what sealed the deal for me. I really like the look of this pencil case.

The case is a soft canvas, expandable design. The inside is lined and the zippers are excellent. This case can shorten down, or take longer writing tools. The middle of the case is a floating design. The contents are contained in the inner lined pocket, but the outside layer can slide up and down, as it is not attached. You can see the liner through the separation on the midpoint of the pencil case.

I really have to say, the design is what attracted me to this product. The price point, at the time of ordering, was $13.99. I found this to be a decent price for the quality of the case and the cool design. It does have potential to be a conversation piece, or a unique pencil case to send to school with a child.

All-in-all, I really am happy with this case. It brings me little bouts of joy. I would totally order this again, if needed to. I would also order other designs from the same manufacturer. I like it THAT much!
