Step 1

The lighter your hair, the more visible your results will be. Get the perfect balayage by mixing:

-1 part colorcharm PAINTING Lightener [1]

-2 parts colorcharm PAINTING Developer [2] in a non-metallic bowl.

1. Section off a diamond area on top of the head for better accuracy. Apply as heavy or light as needed for the desired finished effect.

2. Rinse, shampoo and condition hair.

I have alot of orange undertones and pictures dont seem to capture it accurately but the clear Developer 20 works great. The clear is super thin, like water which makes it easier to control. I use only capfuls and because it is so thin I use 3:1 ratio not 2:1 as instructions state when i am just doing my roots to match my blonde. I mix 3 developer caps of the 20 developer and 1 of the developer cap filled with the T18. Mix in a bowl and apply with a salon brush (the typical flat salon applicator brush everyone uses, sorry I didn't take a picture). The after picture is from doing 2 times a few days apart. I wanted to gradually lift as opposed to have grey undertones all at once (silver or ash is not the look i am going for).

Not sure what to tell just that buying online with Amazon the price is perfect! My preference using developer for my hair is cream! I like the mixing with this cream developer. I don’t have developer all over my head where it’s a bit thicker than using liquid. Everyone’s preference is different even the # developer you use! I personally like 40. Reason is my hair is just fine n I find this product gives my hair a bit more volume, thicker. I’ve always used this n I’m glad I buy how I do with no outrageous price. Beauty supply sells this product that I use faithfully fast. So knowing good luck thru Amazon I now buy this way!
