Quick Guide Operation:

  • Time Setting: Long press the Setting button for 2s to enter time setting, press +/- button to set Hour, the press setting button to confirm, then set Minute and 12/24H with same steps.
  • Display Brightness Setting: In Power on state, press Setting button to adjust the brightness of LED time display within three options: High/Medium/No brightness.
  • Alarm Clock setting: Press Alarm button to turn on/off alarm. Long press Alarm button for 2s to enter alarm setting, press +/- button to set Hour/Minute, press Alarm button to confirm; Then set Ringtone, Wake up light and Sunrise Simulation 1 by 1.
  • Snooze: When alarm clock goes off, press Snooze button to get 9 mins extra sleep time.
  • Fall Asleep: Press Sleep button to turn on/off the sleep mode. Long press Sleep button for 2s to enter sleep setting, press +/- button to the sleep time within 10-120mins, press sleep button to confirm. Then set Sunset Simulation light, sleep music and volume 1 by 1.

Long press the "FM Radio" button for 2 secs and it will start and automatically scan all stations with frequency 76 - 108 MHz. There are two alarms you can use - alarm 1 has worked flawlessly. But alarm 2 is hit and miss and sometimes just won’t go off in the AM.So I exclusively use alarm 1.I currently sleep in a room with no windows (don’t worry it’s temporary) and so I don’t have the Sun to put me to sleep or wake me up. So I use both the going to bed timer and the wake up alarm to help my brain think it’s a certain time of day.It’s a little clunky in operation. But does the trick!I don’t love the brightness settings of the time because it casts a bright light even at the lowest setting. But you can’t see what the time is if you turn the clock time light off.

Received this in good order. While I like to maintain a healthy amount of pessimism this clock just does not allow for that.
It works as stated and helps me wake up despite my ever growing desire to not do so. I would not say that it greatly improves my mood, as it has been determined by professionals that that is just not possible without strong medication, but I will say it tries.
Now best to keep in mind it is a little bit confusing to set up without the little booklet the first time, HOWEVER upon randomly unplugging it for no discernible reason I was able to correctly set it back up without the little booklet which is good cause I seem to have lost it.
Overall friends, and strangers, this is a good product. The light works well and you can cycle thru different lights if that’s your pleasure. I don’t use the sound function because I hate alarm clock sound functions in general so I can’t speak to it other than I was able to turn it off.
Also it has a snooze button and I’m very grateful for that button.

I love using this alarm clock, especially on dark mornings that make you want to stay in bed. It does a wonderful job simulating the sunrise and can be programmed to your liking, including the brightness, alarm sound, and time. It can also be set to ring the alarm at different times during the week. For example, I had mine set for 6:00 a.m. during the week and 8:00 a.m. on weekends. It can be a bit finicky to set up at first, but once set, you're good to go. I recommend it!

I bought this clock because I wanted the sunrise feature specifically to help with getting going in the dark on winter mornings. I already have a sound machine and use my cell phone for the various sound alarms I need throughout the week. I like this one because I can have 2 different alarms for the sunrise, and I can have it set to no sound. On the screen it shows the time, but you can reduce how bright the numbers are to low or no light. I have it on low and do not find it causes any glow at night. The sunrise feature can be set to different colours, brightness, and length of time to increase the light and it takes a bit to decide exactly where to set it, but that's what personally works for you. The main downside is that the light turns off 15 minutes after the alarm time. Some mornings that motivates me to get going and some mornings I miss it entirely and have to rely on my snoozer alarm to get me going.

A lot of the reviews I read mentioned that it was hard to set but I found the booklet that came with it very easy to follow as it had both words and pictures for the instructions. Also, after my purchase arrived I received an email from the company with the instructions laid out again.

I definitely recommend this one if you want to be able to pick and choose which features you use. It is a well made product and the company really seems to care that it works for you.

It took quite a long time to get comfortable with the different functions. I like the variety of light level and sound options. I like that there are two alarms. The light doesn't go from 0 to the desired setting like a sunrise though - it comes on with the sun already up and then brightens more. I use the sleep button all the time at night with dimming light and sound (currently using crickets sound). The rising and setting of the "sun" is quite quick but I've gotten used to it.

The radio has two drawbacks; 1) changing radio stations is not straightforward at all, and 2) there is too big of a jump between volumes 1 and 2 (need like a 1-1/2).

It was nice that the company followed up after purchase to determine satisfaction plus offered to send a pdf user guide. However, when I asked them about a specific function and asked them to send the offered pdf, I didn't hear back from them. That was months ago.

Now that I mostly have it figured out, overall I'm happy with it. Except for that darn radio channel selection!

I sleep with blackout curtains to fall asleep, but it also means waking up in the morning is near impossible without hitting snooze.

Was skeptical but this woke me up this morning in the most pleasant way, i can't stress enough how I didnt feel the need to hit snooze. The alarm never even went off because I woke up 1 minute after the light started (the light starts a pre-set amount of time before the alarm goes off, for me I set the alarm for 6:50 and set the light to start coming on 10 minutes earlier at 6:40. Was out of bed by 6:42). Brightness level is perfect, I set mine to level 9/20 but I think it was still on level 2 when I got up. No need to crank it if your eyes are sensitive to light.

I will say, following the sunset procedure was probably the most helpful part (I set it for 30 mins and read while the light dims, then when I can't read anymore put my book down and I was OUT). I normally can't fall asleep easily so this was an amazing feature.

There are complaints about how to set it up and how user friendly it is... took me all of 5 minutes with the included user guide to set it all up. I understand if you wanted to wing it and throw out the instructions you may never figure it out, but just use them, the unit is easy to understand once you read about it. With screen brightness of the clock numbers set to its lowest the light didn't bother me while sleeping, very dull glow. Can turn it off too if needed.

Overall excellent purchase and love that its 50% of the price of some brand name ones and has completely changed how I get up in the morning!
