Got one of these because it looked nice, but later wondered what I got it *for*. Because though it looks nice and all it doesn't serve that much purpose.

Pros:
-Looks nice. Nice colour (I got the purple one).
-Allegedly blocks RFID (I didn't really test this nor care about it). Good for tin-foil hatters I suppose lol.

Cons:
-Makes your passport larger. Goes from "able to fit in your pocket" to now not being able to fit, unless you have large pockets. I thought it was close to the size of a passport and thin, but it's actually significantly larger.
-Makes you wonder what you spent the $15 for in the end.

It's nice and all, but just don't think it's at all necessary. I'll keep using it but wouldn't buy again or recommend people buy. It doesn't really have much usefulness. You gotta take your passport out to give to border guards anyway, and it doesn't make your passport any easier to carry (in fact it makes it worse because it's larger and bulkier). It's also not like you need to protect your passport from falls, scrapes, etc. so...I dunno. Buy one if you like, quality is fine, just really doesn't do much except look pretty.

I wasn't going to bother getting a passport cover. I never had one for my old passport. But the covers on the new passports curl up and do not lay flat. So I saw this one, liked the color. The little pen and additional pockets are a bonus. Not sure if I'll ever use them. The fold-over tab is secured with a magnet. Time will tell how long that holds up. But I am glad now, since discovering that the passport covers curl, that I purchased this. It will keep my passport looking neater, longer.

I bought this for a trip, and used it in place of a wallet part of the time. It held my passport and credit cards safely, had a slot for a paper plane ticket (which occasionally was needed), and had a good magnetic clasp that really works. What I really found useful, though, was the slot for phone SIM cards; we replaced ours with foreign ones, and I was able to store our home ones and the tiny tool that came to replace them with in this wallet easily and securely. They stayed safe, clean, and unharmed throughout our trip. Best of all, at the end of the month, I still knew where to find them!!!
I don’t know how good the RFID protection is, but I know it gave me peace of mind to have this little guy for the trip. I had bought a different one in real leather from another source a few months back, but it wasn’t RFID protected, so back it went. The patterns are pretty/interesting with lots of options, and the one I got with the cherry blossoms is as pictured. Happy with this—for under $10, it was a nice wallet for travel.
