Am I ever glad I didnt spend big bucks to get one of the fancier brands, because this one works just wonderfully! I usually just blow dry and straighten, but this thing is now all I need. It has officially replaced my dryer, brush, and my straightener. I can only imagine how much happier my hair will be soon, without blow drying and straightening every day.Heat is effective and dries my hair fast but does not burn my head even a little bit. The end part can be held with my bare hands to help maneuver it. Easy to use/style my hair. Gives nice volume. Definitely straightens as opposed to curling though (if you were expecting curls), as the barrel is very large.10/10 highly reccommend!Last photo for refernce is of my hair not straightened. I've been using the Revlon brand 3-in-1 blowout brush for the last 2 years.. they have an expiry anywhere from 6-12 months. They also have a bit of an unconventional design with the swivel chord area - it suck in hair and eventually prevents the chord from swiveling and the chord starts to get messed up, making it quite difficult to use - it also pulls and sucks in a lot of hair to the center unit of the brush, eventually causing it to bilow smoke everywhere and has set of my fire alarm a few times - THIS blowout brush was slightly less smooth than using the Revlon - but is such a better design, I've yet to have any hair wrapping around my chord or going inside the unit where I can't access it to clean, doesn't create smoke at all, and has a very nice finish - I am prone to friz with my hair type, if I finish off my hair by just brushing it through with the heat on high it calms the friz on top a bit better than always just turned your brush for rge blow out effect. Even if my hair ends up on the straighter side, the lose curling affect does take shape with a bit of time afterwards! Love the results, great product for the price!

I researched then purchased this item due to reviews. It works perfectly as described. I have wavy hair naturally and in order to straighten it, I used to blow dry then straight iron it which had taken approximately and hour to complete. Now it is done in one step. The dryer is strong and can be adjusted to air, low or hot and takes only a few minutes to get my thick hair tamed down to the roots. It is not too heavy a weight on your arm while styling which is a plus. I definitely recommend and would purchase this item again.

I wouldn’t recommend this for shorter hair ie Bob or lob styles. Keeping it for when my hair grows out as it was effective at smoothing and drying my wavy-curly hair, it just created a mushroom shape with the shorter cut (or I lack the skills to use it properly).

Update to my previous review below. After I posted the review, I was contacted by the company offering to replace the hairdryer brush with a new one. They asked me to send the old one back once I received the new one so they could identify what the issue was. I am very impressed with the sercive I got and I did receive my new brush which does not seem to have the same issue so far. Well done to this company for providing excellent customer service.

I bought this to replace my Revlon on which I loved but blew the fuse when I tried to use it in Cuba. The reviews for this one were all very good and in generak I would say that although the brush is slightly smaller, it does do the same job. When you can actually get it to work that is. This has become such a pain and annoyance to me because every time I try to use it, the power cut off switch that it comes with, shuts it off, or it just doesn't turn on to begin with. I have tried to figure out how to get this to work smoothly but it just seems to do what it wants. Sometimes it starts but then shuts off mid way through drying your hair, sometimes you have to spend 5 minutes pressing in the reset button many any times before it starts. I so wish I had just re-purchased the Revlon one again instead but I hate wasteful purchases.

I bought this once my revlon brush had broke and the bristles warped. I bought this based off reviews as the cost was better than the revlon brush and I am not disappointed. My roots actually dry as it gets down to the root which makes drying time and styling way faster and I end up with more volume. I found my hair was softer and didn't catch or damage my hair like I had experienced with the revlon. It gets hot but the air feels cool so the brush itself and my hair doesn't get extremely hot which makes handling while styling easier and do not need a glove. Highly recommend this brush! It works on my long fine curly hair and also my daughter who is mixed race and has thick kinky curly textured hair, it has an air option if you do not want the heat! Very versatile.
