I'm not a panel expert by any means, just someone that adjusts a picture to what looks decent to them and carry on with my day.For context I'm replacing a 27" 1080p budget Acer monitor. That monitor has given me good service over the years, but I wanted something bigger with a higher resolution and HDR capability. I also prefer a more understated design, so a gaming display is out.Pulling my VX3276-4K-mhd out of the box, my initial impressions were good, I liked the glossy metallic effect finish on the base. The monitor was also very thin and modern. I didn't like having the buttons at the back so much however.I connected it to my PC via the included HDMI cable and it looked completely washed out. Assuming this was because of the settings for my old monitor, I reset everything but it still didn't look quite right.I then did some research, sourced a DP cable and it was better. However with the adjustments from Windows, Nvidia's panel and the monitor itself, things looked a little washed out to me (a nightmare to view in particular with Excel).Over the last few days I have downloaded the drivers from ViewSonic, applied the ViewSonic colour profile and turned some things on manually in the Nvidia control panel.The first thing I have turned on is Full Range Colour which was defaulted as Limited Range, then I enabled 10-bit colour. Immediately the washed out look disappeared. A few adjustments later and the image for productivity, gaming and movies looked satisfying.A few downsides, it seems random if I can access certain features of the menu or not. One minute they appear (looking at you View Mode), the next it is grayed out. Also having the buttons at the back makes navigation a bit of a pain, you may find yourself pressing Cancel instead of Enter.The built in speakers are also terrible, if you are going to rely on these that may be an issue. My Asus Xonar DG and desktop speakers hande my audio needs.Out of the box, I wanted to return it. However after all the tweaking it now has a nice picture. I am also happy with how it handles a lower resolution. I purchased the 4k for productivity and streaming movies. My video card has no hope of that for gaming. 1080p and 1440p are upscaled well.I would classify myself as more of a casual gamer, I use a wireless controller in most cases, and a budget gaming keyboard and mouse setup. I also play exclusively offline.A more gamer-oriented individual will definitely want a monitor with higher refresh rate, quicker response rate, FreeSync or G-Sync.For an all-rounder like me (Productivity, Basic Image Editing, Basic Video Editing, Browsing, Streaming, Gaming), I am happy with this screen.

I have the 24" 1080p version. I've had it a couple of weeks now and although at first I did not like the image quality, I've changed my mind. Either my eyes got used to it or I suppose there's a slim chance it needed some burn-in time. At first, text looked very blurry to me but I'm ok with its text rendering now. I did need to change the "Sharpness" setting: "main menu" > "manual image adjust" > "sharpness". It was set at 50%, setting it to 75 or 100% (there are 5 level options) improves the text rendering. The stand is a bit wobbly, but that seems to be the case with many monitors these days. It is very slim and sleek looking.

I ended up buying another one. I've found it excellent for my uses. Works great, nice and clear, light, easy to move around, no issues at all. I find the hdmi & displayport inputs on the back very useful as they're easy to access compared to ports that are pointed down on other monitors.

I bought this screen for multiple laptops. I have found that the resolution and brightness is not as great as what I have on my old Macbook pro mid-2009 LCD display but I does a great job with my other PC laptop. The screen size is perfect for small office work. I have set up a logitech USB camera on top of the screen and I have now a better view of my co-workers when we are on MS-Teams or Zoom videoconferences. This also the perfect screen size for getting rid of my glasses since I can read what I am typing without adjusting the font size display. The design is what really attracted me in the first place. I didn't want a thick screen on my desk and I didn't mind have another power bar attached under my desktop. I bought the same screen for my spouse because it is very light and she can move her screen around in her office for different setups without asking for my help. We are not playing video games on theses screens as we would prefer higher refresh rate but for video watching on Netflix or YouTube I found this screen delivering good quality at an affordable price. I bought a more expensive ViewSonic screen (gaming) from my son a few years ago and we found that it was quite reliable despite travelling with it regularly for LAN tournaments.

I'm writing this review after having used this monitor for more than 2 years, since April 2020 (it's now June 2022). I originally bought the 1080p version but wasn't satisfied with the resolution (1080p on my TV is fine but when I'm working on spreadsheets, I need objects on my screen a little crisper) so I returned that and bought the 2k/1440p version.

Why I chose ViewSonic:
o Price point
o It has a DisplayPort connection. Most monitors at this price back then only have HDMI (not sure if this is still the case in 2022)
o I like the ViewSonic split-screen utility - where you can split your giant 32-inch screen to have different windows as an alternative to having separate monitors. I much prefer this to having separate monitors because I like just looking straight ahead rather than turning my head side to side.

My current setup is this monitor is hooked up to a StarTech KVM docking station, which is connected to my work laptop and my home desktop. I use the StarTech to switch between the two computers. I don't use the split-screen at all on my home desktop computer. I just play games on it.

A caveat on my gaming rating: I am a very casual gamer, not hardcore, so I cannot speak to the frame rates or speed or whatnot. It looks fine when I play my games but I don't know if the types of games I play are graphics-intensive (I play some RPGs, so maybe? I'm a nostalgia player though so I also play a lot of old games). The graphics card on my home desktop is NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti 6GB if that helps anyone at all.

All in all, I'm very happy to have bought this monitor. No complaints so far.

Wonderful monitor!
Now the screen for my desktop is the same size as my tv, no need to get used to a size difference watching movies, etc.
I got this monitor, on Amazon Prime Day, very glad I did. Arrived fast and in perfect condition.
It works very well and has a lot more options than my old monitor.
I read somewhere the screen doesn't tilt.
IT DOES TILT, it's angle CAN be adjusted.
However, you have to be CAREFUL how you do it. Do it gently, from the bottom of the monitor, handling ONLY the frame portion. This can be challenging, as it is essentially framless. However, there is some frame there, it can be done, but GENTLY. Put the pressure on BOTH sides of the monitor at the bottom of the frame. Spread the pressure out, don't concentrate the pressure in one small spot.
Remember to not put pressure on the actual screen. I read one buyer that did developed a permanent crease on the picture surface.
Instructions that come with say to only wipe the screen down with a cloth dampened with WATER. I assume this means any chemical sprays are out.
Very easy to assemble, even I had no problem with the sparse instructions included.
For speakers I use small external LOGITECH ones made for computer desk tops/laptops/tablets. There is also a separate mini bass that comes with the speaker set.
Much better sound than what comes out of the monitor, plus the sound comes from where you put the speakers, ie in front of the monitor, as opposed to from the rear with the built in ones.
Great monitor, great price.
So far, I love everything about it!

Nothing fancy, but priced good, and works perfectly. Oly one HDMI in and one VGA in. I like the legs of it, allows you to push keyboard out of the way. The speakers built in, was one of the main reasons I took this, simply to avoid having to put speakers on my desk also. You can get a much better monitor, for more money I'm sure, but if you just want a basic monitor, this will work perfectly.

O monitor é muito bonito, de espessura fina, tem um toque moderno e funciona perfeitamente conectado ao MacBook, com o cabo mini DisplayPort. Mantive a configuração original (que funciona muito bem) pois configurar é um pouco chato, devido aos botões traseiros não terem indicação de sua funcionalidade.
