After having it for 4 months, the record player is now “warbly” like something is slipping and the record slows down. Also, digitizing records is NOT possible as described. I will be contacting support but I doubt I will get help being in Canada.

We bought this for LP records and it's bluetooth connectivity although it has great sound with additional speakers. For a multifunctional device, this is GREAT for the price. It has CD Cassette LP 33/45/ 78 Records and USB capabilities. Great sound and the needle is heavy enough to miss some of those scratches and skips. The lid closes while your record is in play or has a great hinge to keep it open if desired. We paired this with a budget friendly set of surround sound speakers and it easily paired via bluetooth. The cabinet is wood (we chose black) and it's got a great retro/chrome look to it. Really classy and solid. The size is nice because it's not huge but big enough to be a statement piece. Quality seems great so far. Also in the set-up directions...WHEN UNPACKING...BE PATIENT WITH THE SCREW TO HOLD THE TURNTABLE IN PLACE DURING SHIPPING. It is very hard to remove and frustrating and it's in the back top which is hard to reach and unscrew. When it finally releases, it feels like you have broken the machine. You more than likely have not. It comes with a handy remote. You can connect additional speakers via RCA cables or bluetooth. You can also use this VICTROLA as a bluetooth speaker from your phone or desktop/PC/laptop. Great for beginners or those with multiple types of music media (ie: old people like who want an easy machine to play ALL their favorite music from the last 4-6 decades). Definitely recommend!

I wanted to get back to playing Vinyl, but the two Record players I have, are no longer working. I thought about getting something more expensive, but truth be told, I'm not willing to dive deep in my wallet at this time for something I'm not going to play a lot. I prefer to keep it simple and inexpensive. When I came across the black Victrola 8-in-1 unit, I compared it to many other options I was considering. In the end, I opted for the nostalgic style and simplicity of it. It's a nice added furniture piece as well. Down the road, I'll probably re-invest in a better record player, but for now this works.
**(Update 12/04/22 11 Months later: The turntable still works, but on numerous Vinyls I own, it skips and skates across the record. It simply annoyed me. I've since bought a new $160 (1 By One Belt Drive) turntable that yet has done the same on the those Vinyls. (See my review of that on my profile). Not only that, the Vinyls sound so much better, more crisp and quiet. I wouldn't recommend this unit if you're looking for a turntable to play your Vinyl. Though, I do think the other many formats come in handy and work and sound nicely.)

My opinion... If you're an audiophile and looking for superior sound, this isn't for you. You're probably looking for something more expensive. Anyone who is very picky and heavily into sound, will not be satisfy with this, and most likely laugh at this unit. However, an average listener who isn't looking for bells and whistles, this should be fine. Also, I think those who love the nostalgic look and the simplistic of it, will enjoy it!

I ordered this on a Thursday, and it was shipped to me by Sunday. (By the way, the expected delivery date was Monday. What a pleasant surprise to hear a knock at my door on Sunday morning and it was the USPS at the door with the unit!) I unpacked it, and had it up and running within 5 minutes.

I tried out all formats. Everything worked just fine with the exception of the record player. Unfortunately, the needle randomly skates (skips) through songs. I was quite disappointed, and at first I wanted to immediately return it. Though, I recall when I was a kid, I had similar issues with older record players skipping through songs,, and I remembered that the arm needed an adjustment or to be weighed down slightly. I recalled, placing a penny on the arm would help keep the needle from skipping. Possibly there might be an adjustment I can make with the arm that I'm not aware of yet, but meanwhile the penny did the trick. I just taped a penny on the arm, keeping it from falling off. Records no longer skip!

Bluetooth immediately synced. CDs and cassettes played smoothly. As for the speaker/sound, I wasn't expecting anything superior. Now don't mistake me, I like to experience great sound, but for something as inexpensive as this, I would be fooling myself to think it would deliver superior sound. Still, the internal speakers fill the room nicely. I prefer to have more bass mixed in. Even better, something to balance the treble and bass would make this unit sound even better. That being said, you are able to add external speakers. I had an old pair of Aiwa book speakers wih a SUB-WOOFER that I bought back in early 90's. Sounds terrific with the AIWA external speakers! (Note: plug external speakers in the back using RCA jacks. I first tried my external speakers through the head phone jack, and while that worked, the sound is much lower using the head phone jack than the RCA jacks in the back).

I am only giving 3 stars because the turntable is not that great and skips through many records. I used the penny hack, or a heavier coin, but that didn't help much. However, I've read previous reviews and this was a common complaint among those who bought this unit or similar. Also, I foolishly bought this specifically to play my Vinyl records.

Again, if you're looking for a non-expensive, nostalgic piece of furniture which gives you the option to play various types of audio formats, this may be for you. External speakers definitely enhances the sound experience. I've included a 28 second video that shares the sound with external speakers. Certainly, video doesn't compare being in person, but you get the idea. At the end of the day, if your looking to play in all in one (minus the turntable) this is the unit will definitely do. Just don't buy it if your looking for a turntable, these all in ones don't really have great turntables.

The player is amazing especially with all the different ways you can use it to play music. But I bought it specifically for the record player part and well that part doesn’t work all that good, it’s decent but for the money I expected better. It skipped on a lot of the records I played and was about to return it, but then I looked up tips on how to solve skipping issues specifically for victola record players. I didn’t find much, but one person showed how if you just place a coin (nickel/quarter works best) on top of the playing needle it fixes the skipping issue. I tired it and the records it skipped with no longer skipped so it worked! Other than the problems I ran into with the record player part I would’ve given this product a 5 Stars.
