The battery life on the monitor sucks but both the camera and monitor have cords so I leave them plugged in and use the app on my phone to remotely watch I love how you can zoom in x5 more on the phone app than the actual monitor and Pam the camera around I use this for my dogs when I put them in their crates or I leave them alone it has great 1080p daytime and clear night mode I can see everything that’s going on sound isn’t the greatest I find the camera has to be pointing at the sound or it won’t pick it up clearly (but cry’s it will get) the speakers on the monitor are not the loudest also there is a few second time delay between picture and audio other than that it’s an amazing unit like I mentioned I use it to check on my dogs while I’m out I can see their temp do I know they aren’t overheating and make sure they are okay (the other day this came in handy as I was 2 hours away and I saw one of the dogs got out of their crate and started vomiting the other started peeing and freaking out so I was able to get a friend over and thanked them out)
I’d strongly recommend this for anyone who needs to keep an eye on something you have the ability to add more cameras to the app as well
