I would not recommend this product. The hand held receiver is very small and the screen is hard to read.
Ringer volume at maximum setting is not very loud.
The worst is that calls echo. Very hard to get a clear connection.
Vtech replaced the set quickly and sent me an identical unit.
Exactly the same issues as the first set.
As soon as I plug in my old phone all issues disappear. (old set's battery is shoot, thus needed to replace the phone)

The phone works as expected, but I have a couple of problems with it. First, the phone arrived with a "new voicemail" message on the screen which I cannot locate; nor can I erase the message from the screen. The second problem has to do with the design of the phone and cradle: The phone has to be set almost straight up in the cradle, and it often does not want to stay there. You have to take care when setting the phone in the cradle to make sure it is set in properly. Since it is a V-Tech, I expected more.
