I’m 5’3” so to keep my hands at desk height I had to raise my chair so my feet didn’t touch the floor.I read other reviews and installed it 9cm (7.5 inches) from the front edge of my desk, rather than flush with the edge as in the instructions. This allows the tray to be fully under my desk when not in use.I also lubed up the rails with some WD40. The metal arm that sits on the rails has plastic pieces on it that I found a bit sticky. Would be easier to do this step before it’s fully installed.I was lucky enough to be able to flip my desk over to install, making it very easy. It would have been more challenging to install while under the desk.Adjusting the height of the tray is a little bit awkward, but once I had it where I liked it I haven’t had to make any adjustments.My only complaint is that because the tray is in 2 pieces, there is a slight difference in height on the two sides. My keyboard is positioned more to the left to allow room for my mouse which makes the difference imperceptible, but for anyone planning to position in the centre, you may have a wee bit of wobble. Of course, it could be user error on the construction, YMMV.

I have to say, i did not expect this to be such a Quality Product!.. It is STRONG !! this thing will last for Years i am sure !!
before you even install it, you will be able to tell its Quality!. It is HEAVY!.. strong materials.. and you will think it won't even stay on the desk/ table you bought it for once you see it.. and the small screws it comes with ! BUT.... it attaches perfectly !!. I recently bought a " need " table to use as a desk because it was more beautiful and did not have the HIGH PRICE Tag of a " DESK" . and then pre-measured and figured out how i would attach a ( this ) Ergonomic Keyboard.
I'll try to take a photo later and attach to this review. my table has a Metal LIP all around the edge of it, so i thought how am i going to attach the keyboard i wanted (this one ) . so i figured out a way. i got some wood.. that fits right under my table ... and hidden so its not ugly ( the whole keyboard is almost invisible once slid in )
and then added some Construction adhesive and screwed the wood in place , watching where i was putting the screws as after i mounted the keyboard to that wood.. and it works perfectly !! SO.. you see with some "out of the box" thinking you can get your way around almost anything. and i am glad i did. i LOVE my new Table/ desk and i LOVE this key board.
the Tray is LONG there is lots of room for keyboard and mouse. I have a SPLIT keyboard that already has hand mounted sponge for your wrists, so i did not need ( unless i change keyboard ) the 3M Sponge wrist bar that comes to attach to the keyboard tray. ( but that is EXELLENT quality too !! )
The keyboard tray was bit "tight " and took some PUSH n' Pull to get in and out.. plus my desk is a table. so it moved easily. so.. i got out my can of DW40 and spayed it all over.. and now its great!!!
I wish i had bought this LONG ago.. so if your thinking of getting one.. this is GOOD!!!
it looks and functions like a FAR MORE EXPENSIVE product.. :) one of the BEST items i bought in years !!

I've been using an old dining table to work at home, and the height was not ideal for typing, resulting in wrist and joint pain. This adjustable keyboard tray was the solution. I used the optional supports/stand-offs (separate purchase) to get around the apron at the front of table, and I was able to set the keyboard and mouse at a level that is comfortable for 8 hours of work. The track system is very solid metal, surprisingly heavy and seems robust. As other reviews have noted, it is not a smooth slider as it is metal on metal, so not something you want to be sliding in and out a lot. I think it is more intended to be used as "set it and forget it", which is what I have done. To that end, the adjustment lever is only plastic and does not seem that robust, but as this is not something I will be adjusting frequently I am not worried about it. The keyboard tray itself is a little light and has a slight bounce when you press down on it, or if you are a heavy typer, but I do not find it to be a problem. I would not recommend ever trying to lean on the tray. The included wristpad is a joke, cheap hollow plastic that does not seem like it would be comfortable. I would only recommend using it if you plan on using the tray at a forward angle and need something to keep the keyboard from sliding off. Installation was a little difficult as the position of the screwholes do not leave a lot of room to get a screwdriver in but once it is done it seems very solid. I would recommend a nice solid surface to install it in to, given the weight of the unit. Despite these few small criticisms, this was the solution I was looking for and it is good value for the price.

I have been using this for 2 months now. It was easy enough to install with a drill. However, once you set it in place, the platform slowly drops in angle instead of staying straight, no matter how tight I set it. My mouse keeps sliding down to the bottom of the mat because of it. Otherwise it works fine! But the inability to stay at the height I set it is disappointing.

I was concerned by some of the reviews and the issues with installation. I'm happy to report that this tray is perfect in all ways for my needs. I have experience with DIY and am generally handy having worked for a home theatre installation company in the past. These are generally hard to install unless you are able to flip your desk over (which isn't possible in many cases). Here are some tricks to make this an easy install:

1.) remove the mounting bracket from the tray arm (remove two screws and the plastic spacers on one end of the mount and slide the arm out)
2.) measure 2.5-3" from the front edge of your desk, mark it (2.5" will leave it slightly out; 3" will have it tucked under your desk)
3.) as it is difficult to keep the mount in place (the materials slide on each other) making it hard to use a pencil to mark the holes, I used four rubber "feet" like those you use under something or behind a picture to protect the surfaces - this allowed me to keep it stable to mark the holes - make sure you remove them after
4.) drill pilot holes where you marked to protect your desk material (make sure you don't go all the way through!) and to make it easier to use the included screws and washers (perfect to hold this in place)
5.) hold the mounting plate under the desk and screw in one screw at the front and one at the back to hold it in place and to make the others easy to screw in
6.) screw on the tray to the tray arm
7.) remove the two white plastic pieces from the tray arm and spray them with WD-40 to ensure the tray slides easily
8.) reinstall the plastic on the arm and slide it into the tray mount bracket
9.) reinstall on the mount, the two screws and white spacers you removed in step 1
10.) adjust the tray to your liking and test that it works for your needs (loosen the tension arm and adjust, retighten)
11.) make sure the tray surface is dust free and carefully place the wrist foam piece where you want it. I test placed it before removing the 3M tape cover to be confident in my placement. It sticks very well if you don't fiddle with it - the pad is somewhat hollow and most of the tape floats over the bottom - fussing with it too much will lead to issues that others have experienced. It sticks to mine solid.

En general, la bandeja es de muy buena calidad, cumple su función perfectamente acorde a lo especificado. El espacio es perfecto para colocar un teclado tamaño 100% y aún tener espacio de movimiento para el mouse. El recorrido de la bandeja es bastante largo, aunque depende de que tan al fondo del escritorio se coloque. De igual manera, se puede ajustar la altura, rotación e inclinación para adaptarse a varias formas de trabajo.

Y en cuanto a la instalación, esta fue bastante sencilla, en otras opiniones se decía que esta era muy complicada y que las instrucciones no eran claras. Pero ahora que tengo el producto, puedo desmentir que la instalación es difícil; el problema realmente es que el instructivo no es muy explícito y para variar, viene en inglés. Sin embargo, en el manual se incluye un código QR que lleva a una página con videos e información muy útil para la instalación del producto. Pero eso si, hay que tener el traductor a la mano.

En conclusión, es un excelente producto y al menos en mi caso, solucionó el problema de desperdicio de espacio que tenía con el teclado sobre el escritorio. Recomiendo altamente la bandeja, pero eso si, revisen muy bien las especificaciones del producto y asegúrense de que su escritorio cumpla con todos los requisitos para su correcta instalación.

(Por cierto, el reposa manos es opcional y se puede quitar y poner a placer)

One tip… I put the fixing unit flush with the edge of the desk, I would put it an inch or more back to allow the tray to be slid completely back under the desk. It comes out so far so you are not losing anything by fixing a little further from the edge and it would then be tidied away completely.
