Well, there isn't much to say about these HDMI adapters except they appear to be well-constructed and work as expected without issues. They have the typical metal alloy/PVC/plastic shell/housing with gold plated connectors as many others do. This particular version is 90° DOWN-angled (wider edge of the connector on top when viewed straight on) whereas the other is up-angled (or left/right-angled) so make sure you get the correct one.Btw, if you are curious as to why this is DOWN and not up, well, it's because it's bent DOWNwards when viewing the connector with the wider edge at the top and it's viewed that way (for me anyway) because PIN 1 of HDMI male cable (or female receptacle) is at the TOP LEFT/RIGHT (respectively) corner. Sadly, they don't have any LED at all which is a bit of a bummer.Note that this would've been 90° up-angled if I were to use the female receptacle as a point of reference which I don't do because these are adapters and not ports on a device (TV/monitor, projectors, or computers etc), and I always use the male connector as point of reference when dealing with adapters.I have a few dozens of these HDMI adapters; male/female, 90°/180°, up/down-angled, and left/right-angled etc, you name it, and this is particularly useful for TVs or monitors with HDMI ports located in a recessed area where it often requires a 90° adapter (or cable) to reduce the strain on the cable and these are prefect for what they do.Note that the female HDMI port has what appears to be 2 layers of shielding (pic 5) as opposed to 1 that most others have; however, I can't be certain if that's the case since the rest is hidden from view.✘ These passed the wiring tests as well as interference tests whereas MANY others did NOT because they cheap out on few strands of wires and/or other internal circuitry in order to lower the cost (or they were just poorly made). These have ALL the shielding wires present and accounted for and you'll be surprised just how many of these seemingly high-quality adapters/cables do NOT have all 4 differential shielding wires and the DCC/CEC wire.Those cables/adapters that do NOT have shielding wires often do NOT work or don't work sufficiently well for me due to noise/pixilation and /or short and momentary sporadic loss of signals at random especially when they are used in an environment where cables are bundled up together. As such, if you've experienced image quality issues for no apparent reason all of a sudden, check your cables or grab one that's known to have ALL wires properly wired up (quite a few of these cables/adapters actually have short circuit to my surplice; they often work initially but could crap out at random at a later time which is very difficult to troubleshoot.≡ ValueAll things considered, these are fairly decent 90° down-angled HDMI M/F adapters that are well-made and work as expected without issues. They are very reasonably priced at $10 (for a 2 pack) for what they provide and their overall build quality, usability, and performance.
