In Septembre 2023 I purchased the X4S dashcam, the hardwire kit and the USB suction mount and had these permanently installed at the car dealership. The quality and reliability have beenall as described by Vantrue and thwe service since above average. Every inquiry replied to by next day, just outstanding. As a result I decided to buy the Vantrue E1 Lite to use as a rear camera in my SUV. I connected it to try out and all worked to satisfaction and I am now waiting for a suction mount to install it. I have been very satisfied dealing with this seller, Vantrue and have no problem recommending the product both for quality and service. My reason for 4 stars is I plan to order the filter recommended to inprove picture quality and for night vision I have not tried that.

 I really like that the VanTrue E1 (Element 1) is a compact 160 degree, 2.4G wifi, remote control, voice activated front dash cam with the ability to download video from the camera to your phone via wifi without having to pull out the micro sd card. It has higher resolutions capabilities than just 1080p with 1440p as well as 1440p HDR and 1944p. Memory card size supported is 32GB-512GB and I am using this camera with a Samsung 64GB Evo micro sd card without any issues. The camera has a windshield 3M sticker mount which should eliminate suction cup failures and the camera slides on magnetically which is nice if you want to take the camera with you or hide it somewhere. There is built-in GPS, collision and motion detection. The remote control allows you to control the camera with emergency video recording or photo options or you can use the voice control as well, due to the built-in microphone on the E1. The camera can be powered by usb-c directly or via the 12V usb-c adapter and there is a spare USB port on the 12V adapter if you wanted to charge a phone or power another usb device. Set-up was easy and can be done via the touch buttons on the camera. It was a very intuitive set-up. Wifi connectivity via my iPhone, allowed me to also view what the camera could see real time. With the GPS built in, it tracks your vehicle route while filming video so you can more accurately find a location where an incident may have occurred. Image and video quality are very crisp and clear at both night and during the daytime. I highly recommend the VanTrue E1 for features, compactness, quality of video and photos and interfacing capabilities with an iPhone. Best dash cam I’ve owned to date!

I recently purchased this dashcam, and I'm very impressed with it. It's affordable, sleek, and offers great value for the price. The video quality is excellent, providing clear footage that gives me peace of mind knowing that I have video proof in case something happens.

I was looking for a basic dashcam, and started reading reviews. This one got a high rating most everywhere, one calling it 'Best value for money'. Installation was easy, as was configuration using my iphone. I particularly like the voice activation (and deactivation) of its built in wifi, audio recording, the visible screen, and taking photos on command. As an aside, it was very well and attractively packaged. Instructions could be a bit clearer, but no problems once understood. Looking forward to getting it permanently wired in.

 I got the product in November but I got it installed today and it worked great for few hours and now it won’t stay on it keeps shutting off and restarting by itself every few seconds I don’t like this product very bad product. I wish I didn’t buy it. I’m not satisfied with the product
