I wrote a great review for this when I first bought it. I worked well for about a year. Since then and really not too long after that the portion that can swivel became loose and allowed to phone wobble insecurely. I tried to tighten it several times but I cannot figure out how to do that. Also, another problem is with securing the cell phone in the cradle held in between the two spring open grippers for the sides of the phone. These work together with a release button on the back. Originally these all worked as one should expect. This also failed because the release button only sometimes works with one of the phone grippers. In the meantime, I tried to use tape to get it to stay together. I won't buy this again.

I needed a way to secure my SmartPhone when charging it in the vehicle, and this fit the bill because of how it is secured in a cup holder. Of course it means that a cup holder is sacrificed for the purpose, but that's one of the few options that are available in this vehicle. The mechanism for adjusting is a but "notchy" but there is lots of flexibility for installation, and once installed it is sold and does the job nicely.
