The UMIDIGI F3 is a really solid phone for the price paid representing great value. This particular model came with 8gb of RAM and 128gb of storage which I found to be more than suitable for my day to day usage needs.. The phone is packaged beautifully on the inside and is very aesthetically pleasing. It comes in various different colors and I chose the Matte Silver which I was ultimately very happy with. There is a 5G capable version but since I am currently with a cellular provider that did not offer 5G service, I opted for the non-5G phone. When I unboxed the phone, the package came with a case, charger and screen protector. From a display and size standpoint, I personally found the size to be very optimal. It fits in my pockets perfectly and does not feel bulky. The instruction manual was pretty straightforward and easy to understand so I were able to set up the phone fairly quickly. I also really like the fact that at the back of the phone, there are labels indicating what the different buttons are used for. The labels indicate where the SIM Card Slot, Flashlight, Power, Volume, and Customization buttons which makes it easy to understand how to use the phone even if the instruction manual is not read.
The biggest advantage of this phone was its strong battery life. I was able to use the phone on heavy setting for 3 days without needing to re-charge it. The charging speed for this phone is also very fast. There are different options for keeping the phone secure including: Fingerprint, Face Recognition, as well Password and Pattern Screen Lock. The different options allow the user to choose which method they feel that their phone will be kept safe and secure I personally preferred using fingerprint for security and this option was easy to set up.
It is also easy to type in different languages without changing the language settings. All that is needed is adding a language that you would like to use on settings. The camera, for a phone of this price range, was very good and practical. The picture quality were better than I was expecting, better than my previous phone in this price range. I tested both the camera and video recording specs and they met my approval. The quality of the speaker on the phone is very clear. I am able to hear the person on the other line very clearly. Overall, I think this phone represents great value at the price range and would have no problem recommending it to others.
