Of all the phone mounts out there, I chose this one because of the placement on the stem as opposed to the handlebar. Used it to navigate a 5 day bike trip and it was great. Quick to put the phone in and take out, also quick to take off the bike and put back on. There was some movement/twisting but considering the bumpy roads I was riding on, it was to be expected and it was really minimal. I don't have an iPhone so unlocking my phone while on the mount meant I had to input my pin everytime but that couldn't be avoided. Overall, I'm happy with it.

The iPhone holder mounted easily on the horizontal stem part of my handlebars. The rubber is stretchy. But since I don't trust any of these type of holders with my very expensive iPhone, I use an iPhone case with Alan yard on it when I cycle. That way, I can tie the iPhone to the handlebars just in case it jiggles loose somehow.

Great phone mount overall, and the stem attachment is a lifesaver. It holds well without any movement on typical rides but, since the phone is just secured via silicone straps that stretch, lots of bumps can cause the alignment to shift a bit. I'm not sure any phone mount would be truly unaffected by bumpy ground, but the 4 stars is simply to indicate that this one isn't either, despite being all-around solid for road and gravel rides.

This is one of the best phone holder solution I have found to be used on discovery rides on and off road:
- Cheap
- No moving parts, seams, stiches
- Weather-proof
- Ultra-light
- You can use your existing phone cases (especially waterproof ones if riding in the rain)
- Access to any phone features
- Erogonomic positioning so your knees do not hit the phone when climbing.
- super easy to take the phone off to take pictures on the go.
Only downsides:
- inability to rotate the phone, which for me was not an issue.
- if it breaks, it is likely to be without warning
- my carbon stem was a bit too large but I extended the strap length with a Velcro loop and a O-ring to avoid stressing the strap too much.
