I don't often rate my purchases, but I thought this one deserved to be rated. Before placing an order, I usually read the poorest ratings first since there is a chance that good ratings may be exaggerated. In this case, there were several complaints of poorly written instructions and flimsy construction, but as an Engineer, I felt these were likely due to misunderstanding of the product. Based on the description and photos of the product, it looked to be straight forward to assemble and relatively sturdy. My biggest complaint is with the TV manufacturers who have decided to eliminate the centre pedestal base design in favour of the cheaper little feet spaced 4 ft. apart on a 65" Sony. Who has media centre furniture that wide? So I decided to give this product a try. I was very impressed with the quality and finish. The gauge of steel used was just heavy enough to provide a sturdy attachment and a solid feel to the base once attached to the set (that's the key). The set feels just as stable on these legs as it did with the OEM feet. The ability to adjust the height also allowed for increasing the clearance under the set enough for me to place my Satellite box between the legs on top of the media centre, instead of inside on a shelf, allowing for better cooling.
Bottom line, I'm very impressed with the design, quality, ease of assembly, and cost. It got me out of trouble.
