Update - after just 2 months, the screen has died. It was not dropped and there are no cracks or scratches. Ulefone stepped up and did a replacement phone. I have had 2 of the Ulefone rugged smartphones and so I decided to try their mainstream phone for my wife. Ulefone uses stock Android so setup was a cinch. Everything works and works well. Great screen. Wonderful camera. Tremendous speed. If you don't need 5G, this is a great option for anyone and it is about $100 less than any comparable spec phone that I have seen. My other Ulefone phones have been quite reliable.

Très bon téléphone pour le prix. Qualité de l'image parfait. Vitesse du processeur un peu lent pour ceux qui font du gaming mais pour m'a part je ne joue pas à de gros jeux. La batterie dure longtemps et recharge quand même vite. Se connecte bien avec Koodo juste à ne pas oublier d'activer les données mobiles dans les paramètres car ils sont désactivés par défaut. Très satisfait pour le prix après 2 semaine d'utilisation intense. Reste à voir si c'est un bon téléphone à long terme. Ah oui l'activation par empreinte fonctionne à merveille. Pour se qui est du faciale je ne peux dire car je ne l'active jamais. Le téléphone viens avec le chargeur, le fil, la broche pour ouvrir la carte SIM et une coque protectrices en gel, c'est la seule chose qui manque c'est que aucun producteur encore ne fait de coque ni de vitre protectrices plus robuste présentement en ligne. J'aurais tellement besoin d'une plus robuste pour mon travail. Pour que la batterie dure plus longtemps désactiver l'extension de Ram 24gig le mettre à 12gig et la batterie durera plus longtemps et pour je trouve que l'appareil va plus vite et moins de lag.

It seems great and fast, but when I went out today away from wifi, mobile data is not working even when it's clearly turned on. I am with public mobile. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution or will I need to return it?

It is my first phone by Ulefone, but it’s been a great experience so far. The hardware feels solid, and the software is Android, so it's very easy to set up and navigate. The Wi-Fi connection is stable, and cellular connectivity is great, only that it doesn’t support 5G. If you don’t care for 5G, then this phone is quite good, especially since it is under $400. The LED display has vibrant colors and sharp clarity.

The camera has less zoom and fewer features than Samsung, but the pictures are high resolution. I've been able to capture some nice landscapes and close-up shots in various lighting conditions.

Battery life is a major concern for me, but the 5050mAh battery can last me a full day of heavy usage with the charge remaining. The phone has 256GB storage, which is plenty for my personal use. The phone is fast with no response delays since there’s 24GB RAM. Overall, I'm quite impressed. It's quite reliable while also being affordable. I recommend it.

Auf die technischen Spezifikationen der Herstellerbeschreibung kann verwiesen werden; diese stimmen.

Das Phone wurde als Ersatz für ein Motorola G 7 Play erworben, da dieses einen Displayschaden erlitten hatte. Es muss sich daher aber auch an diesem messen lassen.

Ziel war, ein Phone zu erwerben, welches einem etwas ruppigen Außen- wie Innenbereichseinsatz Stand hält, mit dem man Telephonieren, SMS schreiben, ins Netz gehen und bei Bedarf auch Bilder machen kann, die man auf den heimischen PC oder per mail, sms etc. übertragen kann. Weiterhin kam es mit darauf an, eine Klinkenbuchse zu haben, da ich meine kabelgebundenen Kopfhörer nebst Mikrofon zum Telephonieren anschließen wollte – ohne neue kaufen zu müssen (bin kein Freund von Bluetooth-Telephoniererei).

Auch sollte es angesichts des Vorgängerphones nicht zu groß sein – das Gewicht spielte keine so große Rolle.

Dafür taugt das Telephon.

Vorteilhaft ist dabei insbesondere, dass die USB und Klinkenanschlüsse mittels Gummidichtung so abgedichtet sind, dass ein Wassereindringen (getestet in der Badewanne) zuverlässig vermieden wird. Auch starke Platzregengüsse sowie diverses Herunterfallen und auch Drauffallen von Gegenständen auf das Display überstand das Phone ohne Schaden. Insofern erfüllt es auch die Anforderungen an einen „etwas härteren Einsatz“.

Der Akku hielt je nach Intensität der Verwendung 2-3 Tage durch. Wer jedoch viel mit Navigationssystemen arbeitet, stößt hier ggf. schon nach 1,5 Tagen an seine Grenzen.

Soviel zum Licht.

Zum Schatten:

Die Sprachverbindung ist nur mäßig. Selbst bei voller Lautstärke und Kopfhöhrern ist einee gute Verständigung nur mit Mühe möglich. Es macht keinen Sinn, dass man so ins Telephon hineinbrüllen muss, dass die ganze Umgebung das wahrnehmen kann und sich die Ohren zuhalten muss, um in lauter Umgebung etwas zu verstehen.

Der Lautsprecher ist sehr knärtschig-plärrig, da gibt es besseres.

Die Hauptcamera ist, egal wie toll sie beschrieben wird, Schrott. Mehr als Schnappschüsse lassen sich damit nicht anfertigen. Zum Dokumentieren von Bescheinigungen, Objekten etc. reicht das; aber selbst brauchbare Urlaubsschnappschüsse sind damit nicht wirklich gut produzierbar.

Die Selficamera geht so.

Der Lichtmessensor ist nicht zu gebrauchen.

Absolut schlecht ist die Displayschutzfolie:
Ja, sie schützt das Display vollumfänglich über den gesamten Bereich, auch an den bei anderen Produkten nicht geschützten Randbereich, wo es oft dann zu Beschädigungen kommt.
Aber sie ist derart empfindlich, dass sie, abgesehen von gemeinen Verschmutzungen, schon nach kurzer zeit so zerkratzt war, dass sie die Sichtbarkeit des Displays selbst beeinträchtigte. Zwar wird eine Ersatzfolie mitgeliefert – jedoch ist die Frage, was man macht, wenn diese ebenfalls zerkratzt ist – zumal es vom Hersteller keinerlei Ersatzfolien zu bekommen zu sein scheinen und No-name-Produkte anderer Hersteller sich bisher als permanent zu klein erwiesen haben, insbesondere das Risiko gerieren, dass an den Rändern des Displays ungeschützte Stellen entstehen.

Insofern kann man diesem wohl nur durch Erwerb einer Klapphülle umgehen – was jedoch die Gesamtgröße des Phones wieder derart in die Höhe treibt, dass man letztlich wieder eine solchen Klotz am Beim hat, den man eigentlich nicht haben wollte.

Ergo:

Gutes, preiswertes, vollkommen ausreichendes Mobilphon mit Licht und Schatten, welches sich für den härteren Einsatz eignet. Man muss einfach sehen, ob man mit den qualitativen Abstrichen klarkommen kann. Außerordentlich lästig ist die schlechte Qualität der Displayschutzfolie.

Ho acquistato questo telefono per il figlio della mia compagna, il quale necessitava di un telefono nuovo poiché il vecchio aveva la batteria esausta.
Ho fatto un po' di ricerche sullo store per cercare di trovare il prodotto più adatto a lui.
Le caratteristiche richieste erano le seguenti: un display grande, un grado di resistenza alle cadute elevato, durata della batteria superiore alla norma, qualità con giochi di fascia media adeguata, fotocamera di buon livello, suono di livello medio e reattività nell'uso quotidiano (telefonate, whatsapp, giochi, navigazione).
Questo telefono ha soddisfatto appieno tutte le richieste, oltre a sorprendermi piacevolmente in quanto a durata della batteria (davvero infinita) e qualità generale di funzionamento.
Sembra davvero uno dei primi “Nexus” della serie Google… i più anziani ed esperti di telefonia capiranno di cosa parlo.
Per i più “novellini” sto parlando di quei telefoni cellulari prodotti da Google con un sistema Android molto pulito, talmente “clean” che permette di installare qualsiasi applicazione senza alcuna difficoltà e soprattutto con molta facilità anche per i non addetti al settore.
Allego immagini di test eseguiti, come sempre, con Geekbench, test video e tanto altro, in modo che possiate rendervi conto del prodotto in tutto e per tutto.
Il piccolo al quale è stato regalato questo telefono è rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla versatilità complessiva.
Lo usa senza problemi tutto il giorno per fare chiamate, giocare, hotspot, messaggiare, fare ricerche su google e vedere video su YouTube.
