How do I know if the wireless CarPlay adapter is compatible with my car?

If you have wired Apple CarPlay installed in your car, this product is fit for your vehicle. To know the compatible device, you can also find the right information on the CarPlay website or ask your car dealer.

Persistent disconnection?

After connection, the phone's Wi-Fi will be occupied by the wireless CarPlay program. Dropped connections are usually caused by Wi-Fi interference. You may need to ignore other Wi-Fi networks when using the adapter.

Audio input or output issues?

1. Please check your phone's Bluetooth to see if it is connected to another device. If so, please ignore other auto-connected Bluetooth devices.

2. When on a call, check that your Audio output option is CarPlay.

What is the password for WiFi?

We need to connect to bluetooth, not to wifi. And no password is required to connect to Bluetooth. Please make sure your WiFi is turned on and no other devices are connected when Bluetooth pairing.

Can the adapter be paired with multiple phones?

The CarPlay wireless adapter can be paired with multiple Phones, but only one device can be connected at a time. if you want to pair it with a new iPhone, please cancel the current connecfion first.

Apple CarPlay has completely changed my driving experience. Being able to seamlessly connect my iPhone to my car's infotainment system has made navigation, music playback, and messaging so much easier and safer while on the road. I love how intuitive the interface is, allowing me to access my favorite apps with just a few taps. However, there have been a few instances where the connection has been spotty, resulting in some frustration. Despite this minor issue, I highly recommend Apple CarPlay to anyone looking to upgrade their driving experience.

I have been using it past 1 month. Made my life much easier. Most of the times it has worked however a regular occurrence is that after initial connect sometimes the carplay screen goes blank. So I have to just replug the device. And sometimes whatsapp calls are not clear. Thats why removing a star from the rating.

Once you experience wireless CarPlay, it is tough to go back to wired. I wasn't sure what to expect with this adapter, but it really did work right away and without issue. I went into Bluetooth settings on my iphone, connected to the smartdongle, allowed it to use CarPlay, and within a second my phone showed up on the car infotainment screen. Response rate was perfectly fluid and no issues with connection loss. Instructions indicate that the adapter switches to Wifi after making the Bluetooth connection, so seems like the connection is faster than if it continued to use Bluetooth. The adapter turns off when the car is powered off, so no concerns with battery drain. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The Device worked fine for the first two months, but it stopped working completely and stayed frozen on the startup icon. There are no buttons to restart the device or to try to fix it. I would not recommend it as the life span of this device did not last long and is not worth the investment.

Did exactly what I needed it to do. Connected no problem to my 2023 Ford ranger. My only complaint is when the connected phone is not In the vehicle, it defaults to a black loading screen. Not a big deal but would be better if it default to regular screen, loose access to climate, radio, and functions of the screen. The truck is 100% a work truck connected to work phone but I don't use it just for work 100% of the time. Personal phone is Android work is apple. But works great. No more over charging phone just to use maps 🤣
