I bought these tripod heads because the plastic one I snapped. The original head was supporting a light stick on a tripod and due to the angle there was a lot of stress on the body of the head. This is much more robust and is just as adjustable. And the price for two was not outrageous. Very pleased with it.

I like these, I set up a place in my kitchen where I can mount my tablet computer to follow recipes when I am cooking. I can move the tablet about easily. They come a bit lose after a few movements and need re-tightening, but I don't move the tablet that much when I am in there. It is kind of a set it and forget it deal.
They are not the best quality that I have seen, however, I don't feel that I need the best quality for this application.

Great little device. Allows you to mount Webcams that have a tripod hole. You'll probable need a 3/8" adapter to attach Webcams to a mic stand, but the adapters are peanuts.
