4 Stars
Sturdy, quick, very good
First impression is that out of the box, the phone is large, but not excessively large. When you take it in hand, it feels sturdy as it should. Now, granted this phone isn’t the kind I’d put a case on, this phone has a similar size to most phones with cases. It comes with a screen protector already installed. There are no mentions of the exact hardness of it, but it’s a good starting point. Now, let’s take into consideration that this phone is meant to be a “tough” phone. As such, many of its features should be directed toward that kind of environment. I did not try to intentionally drop it or submerge it. But it did fall once without any ill consequences.First of all, there are a lot of physical buttons. The 2 added buttons are pretty much flush with the body. However, they are textured and that makes it easy to find them. You can program each button to single, double or long push. That means 3 different actions each or nothing at all. I find they work well and are very useful. I personally have no use for 6 actions, but having the option is something I love. The screen’s color is actually very pleasing, the screen resolution leaves nothing to be desired. However, it is a shame the phone is not Widevine L1 certified. Not that watching FHD Netflix (and the likes) is absolutely required for a phone, but having the option, specially in 2022, is something I’d like to have. Once more, as I said, for my part, it’s not a decisive factor since I just do not watch Netflix on my phone. The speaker is not overly loud, but it is clearly loud enough. The sound is pretty well defined, but lacking bass… Have you ever heard a phone with a pleasing bass though ?As for the battery, it is quite big, but I feel like the Dimension 900 CPU is a little power hungry. Nonetheless, I managed to go through 2 usual days with 21% battery left. In those 2 days, I browsed, played some games, texted, etc. Basically a typical usage, so that is still very satisfying. As for the processor and RAM, it handled everything I threw at it with ease. Opening apps or even turning on the phone was very quick. I experienced no downtime or unexpected delays in games. The camera is surprisingly good. I took pictures of an orchid with the 3 lenses in the back. I didn’t bother going with the 64MP, I just took 16MP pictures and I thought the result was very satisfying, especially with the main lens. I attached a picture taken with each lens for you to see. When taking outdoor pictures, the sky was nice and I felt the exposure was pleasing as well. You have some options to get a bit more creative (and I’m not talking about filters here, I know nothing about that), you can adjust the “camera” settings. It’s quite fun to do.Now with that being said, I believe this cell phone trumps any of the “leading” phones for actual use. It is reliable, sturdy, comfortable, and beautiful. The areas where it lacks are made up by its strengths. As such, I am having a hard time debating between 4 and 5 stars. For what it is, it is close to 5 stars, but nothing is quite perfect, is it ?

This phone is really built like a tank, very rugged, waterproof and dustproof, so you have the piece of mind that is not a delicate piece of tech, but more a like a proper tool for active people. It is big, bulky and heavy but never I was worried while carrying it that it could be damaged, so it's really a relief in terms of durability. While the rugged aspect of the phone is the main draw to this phone, it is really a full package, with a bright and crisp screen, 90hz refresh rate, monster battery and powerful performance. The camera is the only weak point of the phone, with the below average night time pictures and lack of video stabilization. Day time pictures are actually good, with a nice main camera and a very wide secondary camera. Selfie photos are usable during the day. In terms of connectivity you are very well covered, with perfect 5g and 4g, strong wifi and Bluetooth connection, it never dropped or failed. Having a 3.5mm jack is a rare sight in current mobile environment and I am very happy to have it. Expandable storage is also available in form of a micro SD card slot, which is another very welcome feature that it's becoming rare. The battery life is astounding, you can easily go for two days off the charger, which is good because charging speed is on the slow side, comparative to other offerings, but 18 watts is still decent. Software is android 11, with zero bugs so far, which is not a given this days. The company is promising an update to android 12 but is yet to come. In any case I had zero problems with apps, GPS works perfectly, banking apps work, and the CPU/GPU combo is powerful enough to run any app or game, no hiccups no lags, just smooth performance. The phone is carrier unlock and you just need to pop in your sim card and is ready to go, calls and data work with no issue. Very happy with my purchase, ready to replace my older phone.

The phone arrived and I was excited to try it out. It looked sturdy and well-built, and the screen was bright and clear. It had good weight to it and seemed tough enough... until after 3 days the phone flickers in my hand a few times and just goes black screen. Cant reboot , can't hard reset, can't do anything to get the screen back on. Send my personal info to a random company in china? i think not.
This "rugged phone" ... I did not drop it, submerge it, or expose it to extreme temperatures or pressures. I treated it like an angel, but it still became a useless brick in less than a week. I did not even bother to contact the customer service, because I did not want to send all my personal information to China. I had read some reviews online that said that the customer service was not helpful at all and that they would not honor the warranty or offer any compensation anyway.
I wasted my money on a garbage product that did not live up to any of its promises. This phone is supposed to be rugged and durable, but it failed miserably at just staying ON. It is not worth buying or recommending to anyone. I would give it zero stars if I could.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.... RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The speaker is not overly loud, but it is clearly loud enough. The sound is pretty well defined, but lacking bass… Have you ever heard a phone with a pleasing bass though ?
As for the battery, it is quite big, but I feel like the Dimension 900 CPU is a little power hungry.
It’s quite fun to do.
Now with that being said, I believe this cell phone trumps any of the “leading” phones for actual use. It is reliable, sturdy, comfortable, and beautiful. The areas where it lacks are made up by its strengths. As such, I am having a hard time debating between 4 and 5 stars. For what it is, it is close to 5 stars, but nothing is quite perfect, is it ?

Good phone

The fingerprint reader is constantly trying to read my fingerprint even I'm just picking it up to hold because the button is located where I instinctively hold the phone. The biggest complaint I have about the phone is the carrier service and not the phone itself. I bought it to use on verizon prepaid. It worked fine until Jan 3 when Verizon ended their CDMA service and the imei for this phone came up as invalid. I lost the ability to make and receive phone calls but could still use data. So I had to switch to T -mobile service where it works just fine.

Great rugged phone
Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2022Colour: Hack BlackVerified Purchase
Fast processor that did not heat up when playing games or charging. Very long battery life with face recognition turned off, just good battery life with it turned on. Very fast 5g and fast LTE internet. Wi-Fi fast, too. Heavy (see photo) at nearly 10 ounces but to be expected for a rugged phone. Charging plug and plastic screen protector included.

Très bon portable il et résistant ça fait quelques mois que je l'utilise rien à dire il fonctionne très très bien le seul petit problème que j'ai pas aimé c'est au niveau du volume un peu bas mais j'ai mis une application pour booster le volume et tout va mieux
