ULTIMEA Projector 4K Decoding Android TV 11.0 - This is an amazing projector, Iβm impressed
Note: churning sound that you can hear throughout the attached video is a NAS syncing video as I was recording. Projector fan was audible but the churning sound was not projector. Sorry about that..I took this projector for summer home cinema. I was very excited so I unpacked it as soon as it got delivered and started playing around.Letβs go through some basics:Projector comes in a box very well protected with foam material to be resilient to shipping handling.Besides the projector, in the box youβll also find HDMI cable, power cord, remote control and instruction manual. When plugged in, the projector will start self-calibrating and this is a very cool feature that will happen any time when you move the projector. It will automatically re-adjust focus and ensure that the picture is symmetrical. Of course, you can override this setting in configuration and do manual calibration, move corners around, resize pictures and set focus..Then Android kicks in and you will be asked standard questions from language, WiFi network, and to sign in with your Google account.I initially hooked it to my IoT WiFi network which doesnβt have access to my LAN but soon I realized that was a mistake since I have a NAS in my network and this projector supports Plex which I host on my NAS. So if you have a setup like me, donβt make this mistake. You need to allow it to connect to your main network and then configure the firewall to allow access only to Plex port 32400 if you have any concerns. It took me some time to figure out where to change WiFi (tip: in Google settings, not in projector settings). When playing with WiFiβs I figured out the projector works very nicely with WiFi 6 / 5 GHz band. I donβt have a 6 GHz band on my router, so canβt confirm if it works with 6 GHz.In the instructions it is implied that the USB port is used for storage devices to play movies, however I tried the keyboard sensor and it worked impeccably well. So save yourself from pain when you initially set the projector and do all username/password typing on keyboard rather than on remote control. Thank me later.PICTURE QUALITYIn dark conditions the picture looks absolutely brilliant. I am very happy. Of course, when the lights are on, itβs a little bit βwashedβ but still fairly clear.Auto adjusted picture is crystal clear but if youβre not happy, you have direct buttons on remote control to fine-tune focus.SOUNDSound is surprisingly strong but a bit shallow as you would expect from any built-in speaker. Actually I think the sound is much better on this projector than on any standard TV. But given the purpose of the projector is to get the best cinema experience with immersive picture and sound, my recommendation is to look for an external sound bar that you might already have, something that would give more kick. Again, this sound is above average if you use a projector for daily / TV watching therefore this is not negative.I have one Bose Soundbar II (old generation) sitting around and tried to pair it with a projector. It went smoothly and the sound was very full. I also tried with one cheap unknown brand BT speaker and that one wasnβt found (I guess, wrong BT protocol). But Iβd call it success. I can see how a bigger soundbar would upgrade this to almost like an IMAX home experience.ANDROID TV v11Iβve installed only a couple of apps, starting with YouTube (I pay subscription and 90% of my watching is YT), then Bell Fibe TV app and last but not least - Plex. As I mentioned earlier, I have a Plex server on my NAS with a bunch of movie libraries and this is amazing, so far I donβt need any external content source since the projector works beautifully well with WiFi and all content I need is coming either from LAN or Internet.I also looked for Chrome but as such doesnβt exist for Android TV, however there is a βBrowser TV Webβ app available, and using keyboard and mouse it is fully functional. So if you really want to go wild and have βUptime Kumaβ running on some of your Linux machines, yes - you can project a big picture on the wall with the real time status of your network, servers and services LOL :-)HEATING and POWER CONSUMPTIONDuring operation the projector gets hot but not too much. In projector settings you can actually see internal temperature and it is in the range 50-52 celsius. This draws around 75 Watts of power, just in case you're interested in these details in case you want to run it for a prolonged period of time. Speaking of which, the projector has the ability to go to standby and time off settings. Conclusion: Iβm delighted, this is truly an amazing projector, Iβm very happy with what Iβm seeing. At a time of order, discount was also very good and totalled to reasonable 299.99$ (with 130$ discount included)Final verdict: 5 stars

The setup was good after I logged into Google and my Netflix and Prime accounts. Instructions said to start with a phone link which I didn't get working. Once setup I was impressed with the audio depth although not loud. The remote supports verbal Instructions (works better than Rogers remote) and has a fine focus adjustment. So a single control is all you Need. Excellent video even on drywall. When you change the projection wall the unit adjusts the image into a rectangle. Projector swivels so you can go higher even on the ceiling. Had a family event and kids were dancing with a near live sized Michael Jackson. A quality well designed projector.

This is a great little projector. I am using it outside on our back deck to watch movies with the warm summer weather. The fact that it has built in WiFi and GoogleTV, makes it a plug and play system. I can easily launch Netflix or my media server to watch anything quickly and I can add on any Android app onto it. The built in speakers are OK. Decent enough but not really high end sound. However, you can also connect it to bluethooth speakers for better audio quality. The auto focus works fairly well, but I did have to manually adjust it a little bit to get it spot on. This is simple with the remote. I had the biggest problem with the keystone not adjusting correctly and had to go in and manually adjust the corners to make it square. It isn't the stongest projector, so it does need to be pretty dark to see a picture, but once it shows up, it is nice and crisp! I'm looking forward to many more movie nights on the deck this summer.

I took this projector for summer home cinema. I was very excited so I unpacked it as soon as it got delivered and started playing around.
Letβs go through some basics:
Projector comes in a box very well protected with foam material to be resilient to shipping handling.
Besides the projector, in the box youβll also find HDMI cable, power cord, remote control and instruction manual.
When plugged in, the projector will start self-calibrating and this is a very cool feature that will happen any time when you move the projector. It will automatically re-adjust focus and ensure that the picture is symmetrical. Of course, you can override this setting in configuration and do manual calibration, move corners around, resize pictures and set focus..
Then Android kicks in and you will be asked standard questions from language, WiFi network, and to sign in with your Google account.
I initially hooked it to my IoT WiFi network which doesnβt have access to my LAN but soon I realized that was a mistake since I have a NAS in my network and this projector supports Plex which I host on my NAS. So if you have a setup like me, donβt make this mistake. So save yourself from pain when you initially set the projector and do all username/password typing on keyboard rather than on remote control. Thank me later.
PICTURE QUALITY
In dark conditions the picture looks absolutely brilliant. I am very happy. Of course, when the lights are on, itβs a little bit βwashedβ but still fairly clear.
Auto adjusted picture is crystal clear but if youβre not happy, you have direct buttons on remote control to fine-tune focus.
SOUND
Sound is surprisingly strong but a bit shallow as you would expect from any built-in speaker. Actually I think the sound is much better on this projector than on any standard TV. But given the purpose of the projector is to get the best cinema experience with immersive picture and sound, my recommendation is to look for an external sound bar that you might already have, something that would give more kick. Conclusion: Iβm delighted, this is truly an amazing projector, Iβm very happy with what Iβm seeing. At a time of order, discount was also very good and totalled to reasonable 299.99$ (with 130$ discount included)
Final verdict: 5 stars

Very Nice Projector!
When I received this projector, I was a bit surprised by the size and weight of the box! Opening the box, I realized that the bulkiness was partially due to the protective packing material around the projector. The projector feels quite sturdy. It weighs about 2.73 kilograms. The gimbal bracket is made of plastic, but it feels solid enough to easily support the projector. The mounting hole at the bottom of the bracket will allow me easy mounting options on a variety of stands and tripods. The input connectors are
The built-in Android TV 11.0 provides a familiar option for those who have used it before. It gives access to streaming services without having to connect the projector to a computer via the HDMI cable. Android TV also offers Chromecasting from your Android device. The manual describes using an app called "AirStream" on the projector to cast IOS screens.
The manual is fairly easy to follow, although I was not able to initialize the project from my Android device, despite being proficient in it use. So I manually entered the WiFi password and my google account information. Setting up my Prime Video and Netfliz accounts was also straight forward.
Using the USB port, the device was able to read a FAT32 formatted memory stick, and play videos stored in a few different formats. Unfortunately, I could not read NTFS formatted devices. I did not try connecting a wireless keyboard (via a USB Dongle), or a USB hub for multiple USB devices.
The automatic keystoning AND focus both work very well. Just point the projector at a wall, and the device figures out how to adjust focus and keystoning on its own. Lovely!
The dual speakers are a good size, and produce fairly good sound, although 5W per speaker will not provide enough power for larger sized rooms, andfull-bodied sound tracks. Fortunately, there is a 3.5 mm Auxiliary port to connect an external power amplifier and speakers, and Bluetooth 5.3 is another option.
I found that the device consumes about 73W when running. The standby power is less than 1W. The device does get warm to the touch, the hottest area being at the exhaust fan output producing a maximum temperature of 51.5 degrees C. The fan noise was quite low.
The device has a native resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, and can purportedly handle 4K resolution streams.
Since I use a PC laptop as a playback device for my HD screen devices, I tried connecting the projector as an extended display for my laptop. This worked fine, and I was able to access my locally stored videos and various streaming options to my heart's delight!
I think this is projector provides fairly high performance at a reasonable price. Unlike other lower priced projectors, this one feels and performs less like a toy than others. Those who have Android TV equipped HDTVs will enjoy using this device.

Tested it out

I tested it out the moment I got it. I am not disappointed, it's loud enough to hear extremely well and clear. I watched a few YouTube videos and it was so clear, I can't wait to get my white backdrop for the walls. I watched it on my ceiling but my ceiling has texture so it gave it a bit of a weird look.
