I purchased two of these for my podcast and video conferencing. They are powerful for their size and have a solid battery life. Roughly 3 hours of use and then they were ready for a charge. They were back to full battery life in under an hour using the USB cable that was included.Just worth noting that you will need to purchase or have a stand or arm to attach these little lights too since they don't come with one.They are small, but do a great job. The range of hues and colors give you lots of options for your filimng location.

For the size of these lights and the price, you get a lot. There is no app control (which for me is a plus), lots of colour options, easy to use menu, decent lighting effects, magnetic mounting options, decent battery life, and good brightness for its size. I find these more useful than the Godox TL30’s I picked up. For under $40 CAD, it’s hard to go wrong. Throw a few of these in your kit and you’ll find they come in handy for all sorts of things.

This product is a perfect addition to a basic vlogging or traveling video production kit. Despite its compact size, the battery holds its charge very well, even on full brightness. You are afforded a great deal of control of color and there are a few handy animated light effects built in as well. It comes with one hot shoe mound and three cold shoe mounts as well as a typical 1/4-20 socket so getting attached to your other devicss should be no problem. One tip though: because this device is built at a portable scale, there are only a few buttons which compels me to remind you to keep the little instruction book. The function is reliable, but if you need to remember "long press vs short" in order to get the light to behave a certain way, you will be happy to have occasional refresher material around when you need it.

I am using this as a back light for photographing old colour slides. It works very well for this.
I did experiment with the temperature to get a good colour balance.
Have not used it for a long time so cannot say much about how well it holds up.
Depending on the distance it will work well for a fill light also.

I recently purchased these lights with the intention of using them as a professional background color light. While the product boasts a variety of features, I found that it fell short in a few key areas that are crucial for my needs.

The lights are well-constructed and easy to use, with a user-friendly interface that makes setup a breeze. The color options are diverse, allowing for a good degree of customization. However, the beam throw and area fill from these lights were not as robust as I had hoped.

Despite the product’s claims, the lights did not provide enough coverage to fully illuminate my workspace. The beam throw was narrower than expected, limiting the area of illumination. Similarly, the area fill was insufficient for my needs, providing only a soft glow rather than the vibrant wash of color I was hoping for.

This might not be a deal-breaker for casual users seeking to add a touch of color to their rooms. However, for professional settings where a more substantial and far-reaching light is required, these lights may not meet your expectations.

In conclusion, while these lights have many positive aspects and could be a great fit for personal use, they did not meet my needs for professional lighting. I hope this review helps others who are considering this product for professional use.

The blue in the background is from a Monster BlueTooth speaker that looks like a lantern and has lights built in. I'd like to get one more of these so I can quit using the speaker. You can adjust to any color, Red, Blue, Purple, and you can also set it for natural lighting in any variety of cool to warm and use it as a fill. The battery works great but it's built in so you should manage the charge as I've run out a couple times.

Would definately recomend it and I will probably get another.
