I would say overall this is great for point and shoot work, and can be easily mounted to a Monopod or Tripod. The magnet is quite strong and there is a built-in clamp for more security, I also recommend a magnetic case over adding the metal ring to a blank case as the metal ring gets really really hot when charging on a dock but cable charging is fine.

The other issue I have run into is that the photo button increases the volume on my phone when out side the base photo app and cannot be used in other apps as it only increases the volume, this is disappointing as that was what I would use it for most often.

2. The plastic material could have been better, I think they could have used ABS for $20, however the finishes are good.

3. The integrated clip to hold a phone without MagSafe IS VERY STRONG, so much so that it is scary because a small blow could make it jump. I would not recommend using it with "wide" phones, they could damage them or break the mechanism.

4. They were able to take advantage of the space in the grip to put a small compartment and store: a USB cable, SD card, screws, tools or small adapters, even something simpler like an additional 1/4 hole or for a wrist loop, I don't know !

I'm happy because the quality is better than other similar products that feel cheaper, but I don't know if I would buy it again for $20.

I am more excited that they release a more compact and versatile 2.0 version.

This is a great little device! I have an iPhone Pro 13 Max and have always found it challenging to hold the phone with both hands and adjust the camera app while taking a picture. My phone case is MagSafe and this just effortlessly attaches to it and lets me use my right hand for gripping the phone/device while my left hand operates the Camera app. My right hand also presses the shutter. There's no delay in pressing the shutter button on the device and the picture being taken. I also like the option to detach the shutter button and use it to take a group picture while the phone is mounted on a tripod or propped up against an object. Definitely worth the price.
