The Ugreen Stylus comes well packaged with everything you see in the above pictures.***It's important to note that I only use pencils on my ipad for signatures and taking quick notes. I'm not an artist and cannot speak to the pens ability to work in that sphere.I have an apple pencil and if anyone else out there has priced them, you know that they're expensive! This UGreen stylus is an excellent substitute if you want to avoid the big brand price tag. It's feature rich and sports magnetic charging, a simple on off mechanism built in to the button located on the end of the pen, as well as an led light to let you know the pen is operational and or charging. It's works smoothly and I experienced zero lag. It pairs to your ipad via Bluetooth and the process was quick and painless. The pen was operational in less than a minute.I tested the pen and found it performed well. Charging cycle was quick and battery life is quite good.Given the price point, the Ugreen stylus is a worthy competitor for premium brand versions.Highly Recommended.

I have a 3rd generation iPad Air so I knew in advance that I wouldn't be able to charge this pen magnetically on my iPad, but I figured it might work OK otherwise. This turned out to be true - the pen works fine on my iPad and I can charge it on a typical magnetic wireless charger.
The unit is packaged nicely and includes multi-lingual instructions as well as extra pen tips. Setting it up is as easy as connecting the pen to Bluetooth. Note that you do have to hold the end of the pen down for a couple of seconds to turn it on.
Once connected, it seemed to work just fine on my iPad Air (3rd generation). I could use all the functions in Notes - when in pen mode I could print some text and have it automatically turn into a text field with good accuracy. Even using it in Mail, I could write out an email address and the iPad would auto-complete it with good results.
Since I do have an older generation iPad than is technically supported, I don't have the option to charge the pen magnetically on the side. However, I have a magnetic charger that I use for my iPhone (11) and that charges the pen just fine PROVIDED that it is oriented properly on the charging pad. I had to experiment and it turns out when it is set in the horizontal position (with the charger cable at the top) everything works just fine.
One feature I do like is that single clicking on the top button brings you immediately to the home screen whereas double clicking shows you all open apps. At first I thought this was a bit gimmicky but have lately found myself using it fairly frequently.
